Haha the guy asked early in July how long. I'm sure he has harvested long before now.

The post on the first page of this thread is right on IMO, his noob comments aside. White hairs turn red and recede, that's ripeness

No way is it another week... if he still has this thing it's well past harvest. This thread was posted over a year ago ;)

Hey guys, I'm sorry to dig up such an ancient thread, but this conversation is spot-on to my question. I'm a 59 year-old noob grower, and this is my first grow from bag seed that was started in a horrible hydroponics setup with horrible nutes, under a cheap Chinese LED grow light (lol, talk about having the odds stacked against you!). I since have developed a much nicer flood/drain setup that I'm growing my 2nd grow in, and it's doing absolutely great (Jack Herer).
Anyway, I think I have a good understanding of what the trichs *SHOULD* look like when harvest is at hand. I'm thinking this plant is looking pretty mature, but the trichs are basically unchanging. Most are clear, a few are cloudy. Been this way for weeks. In honesty, this bag seed grow started in mid-January, and it's now early June (as I said, horrible setup & nutes, veg took for fricking ever). This grow has been relegated to the basement to finish up, under a single T5 lamp, so my JH grow could get underway in my grow closet (in my new setup, better nutes, and very good quality LED). I think I've FUBAR'd this grow, doing pretty much everything wrong. Is it normal for a plant this mature to show such immature trichs? Should I put a fork in this poor geriatric bitch it and call it done, or let it ride awhile?

Not done yet, let it go

You could let it get some sunlight to finish instead of the t5 if tats a possibility

Ok, most certainly can and will let it ride, I appreciate the feedback!
Oh how I would love to give it some real sun, but not possible where I'm at, unfortunately.
