I'm starting a new thread with new set up new growth and some added wattage:fire:. Started over a month ago germed and into solo cups then transplanted into large subway cups cut down a couple inches off the top of the cup and drain holes drilled through bottom. Let most of the plants veg 3 to 4 weeks and acouple vegged only 2. Original setup was at 400 watts cfl but added 2 40 watt GE plant and aquarium bulbs and some extra 26 watters bringing total to 594 watts:weed:. Plants have responded like crazy I'm running out of room in closet. I know thats a good thing but hope they sex fast so I can pull the males:evil:. I'm worried the plants are growing into eachother with not much space between them light penetration could be a problem? Also looking for some info on nutes for flowering ? no nute experience need help:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

Thats a lot of plants BB. How do you plan on flowering? You gonna use bigger pots or just go for it in the cups?

I take it you work for subway LOL.

Won't be a monster yield if you stay in those cups, but I have seen some good lollipops grown that way.

Keep all the side branches trimmed off on the lower third or so and it will concentrate into one big bud.

The male plant usually is the tallest and fastest growing, it is a strategy.

They grow up tall and lanky so they can shower the bitches with their stuff, like I wouldn't.

I'm interested in the subject of staying in those cups, and what your yield is, I'm subscribed.

As for now the plants will stay in the cups. I have seen plants grown in 20 oz soda containers from seed to harvest:weed:, my cups are bigger so they should be fine. Unless I see they are root bound :wall: I don't plan on transplanting. There is lil room left as it is, waiting for the males:twisted: to show to free up some of the closet and more room for the ladies:hump: Any1 have suggestions on nutrients for flowering? No fox farm stuff local I can get shultz  Superthrive, or Bloom:confused:

I've used Peters 20-20-20 in soil with good results. I mixed it real weak and applied every time I watered.

You can use any fert for bloom from the garden center.

Just make sure that you mix it weak. 1/4-1/2

Weed burns really easy.

those cups will work, check out some of FDD2BLK's threads he keeps all his plants in way undersized containers and has great yields. the need for nutes and water is more frequent with smaller pots, that's really the only difference.... so if you monitor them daily those will be fine.

it might be cool to put some of them in bigger pots once you sex them and see if there is actually a difference yieldwise.

i used the shultz 10-15-10 worked well, also mixed in some mollases,i grew 2 in cups got 3 grams per plant, and one stain i got 5,good luck i would even try those 2 litre pots, the smallest ones after the 4 inch starter pots i think about 2 litres, plus less watering you may be watering twice a day in those. they dont take up much room and it will triple your yield.

no throw in a few water only feedings,in small containers salt builds up quick,so every 3rd time water only.

im not sure what you mean by drop, but mollases is cheap and i believe it adds weight,it definately adds flavour,it has been proven is far as i know that plants use sugars,so for the price why not.i used a teaspoon per gallon,i never used it every watering every second, depending on how often you water.i use carbo load instead now and use a 100 ml per 20 gallons.i found mollases messy, but they all work.
