u mean for the soil or the water in the soil?

for the water 6.7 should be fine. for the soil 6.7 is a tiny high wouldn't worry about it unless the plant was looking sad.

6.7 is great for soil, but you need to check the water that comes out of the bottom of the container after you water normally. Also, fertilizers can dramatically change the pH. Once you get the runoff water to come out around 6.7, you should be OK on testing the soil, as long as you add 6.7ish water from that point on.

Im not a soil grower but you should try to keep your ph between 6.2 and 6.5 but 6.7 should be alright. for hydroponic growth you would keep it around 5.1 to 5.6 i think

sry man - thought this was a dead thread. the way i check my soil ph is checking the runoff. ull need a plastic dish or something to catch the excess and u want to take care to make sure all the water ur testing has gone thru the soil, that is don't water the side of the pot. the first bit of runoff should be more representative than the latter half. some ppl also check the ppm of their runoff in order to gauge nutes.

i only do either if the plant is looking unhappy. they also have little capsule ph test kits at walmart for like 5 bucks, not sure if they work for shit.

if you ph your water everytime and continue the same range it will adjust your ph in your soil. even if your nutes raise your soil ph
