It totally depends on your space and environment AND the genetics. Some strains are already too short and bushy. Why would you want to do either to that strain. Also if you have a strain that shoots up too fast and the environment is conducive to stretching, and you have big pots, and you have more horizontal space, and your lights didn't go on one day and........It all depends is what I'm sayinghow does pheno or geno types matter when it comes to cutting a plant? do you mean that some are less stressed out after being cut? I've never considered that before... I also cant see where either of those things would matter when fimming . fimming is not an easy technique to master. One wrong cut and the main growing shoot is toast..
I am wondering, how does pheno or geno types matter when it comes to using either of these techniques??
