lol yeah we covered that volcom lol yeah maybe youll breed some life in to the dirt weed i say who cares about the males from the seeds you get if any jus let em screw every plant in your country side the dirt weed will be a step up lol ,
lol, i didnt think of that idea, i should have moved my Armageddon males to a different location where there is more wild weed and then just like you said bump up the genetics of the wild weed then just let it take its course....damn it why didnt i think of that!! oh well.

volcom, I wonder if that Azamax would kill termites?
well I just checked the label and it says it kills "mites" it didn't say termites but I'm willing to bet they fall under that category. I'd say its worth trying, its safe stuff and suppose to be really potent shit. I just sprayed them today then i will drench the roots one more time in another week, then do one final spray a week after that tho. It says apply every 7-10 days for a total of three applications or until pests are under control. I'm doing 4 apps tho because Im spraying and drenching...I don't wanna take any chances here.

Drenching sounds like it should get to them. I was always leary about using any kind of insecticide as a drenching for fear of damage. No plant shock or burn huh? I'll look into that stuff. Thx, slabhead

Yeah, next year move a good male or two into that wild area. If any comes back up next time. It might not since it didn't seed this year.

yea it was scary watering my plants with that stuff for sure, but it has a chart table that shows mix ratios for drench applications and i just mixed up the highest dosage and crossed my fingers, but I really felt as tho if it didnt work most of my crop would fall due to these worms so yea.
those wild ones will be back next year I guarantee that, maybe not as thick but there are plenty that are gonna still make seeds, shit even my plants are showing a few seeds here and there...either i missed one somewhere or the bees bring it in from other distant plants....or both.
All is well otherwise tho, plants are lookin great. i kinda want a few seeds in mine anyway, just pick em out as i find em after harvest.

If you found this, then you have to cut them out. They will eat eat shit their way up to the colas and eventually ruin them.

Take a razor and cut at the buldge. That is where the worm is. After just garden tape it back together. The tops will be uneffected by the cutting.

I had a huge problem last year.

Spraying after they are inside will have no effect on them. Plants need to be sprayed before so they die before they can enter.
I never checked back on thread, wow, terrible news. Just cut it out? Is there any chance cutting stem will kill my plant? This sucks to hear. This is my first grow and I feel like I just found out my baby is handicapped. But still looking good for now

Sorry for jacking your thread Vrider. But yeah, this year I have taken the proper steps to BE one step ahead of the bugs. Different location this season but I'm not taking any chances I don't have to.

bah its all good. Yea next year I will be ready for them before they get here for sure, but yea location also has a lot to do with what your fighting against sometimes.

Those r some fine beauties... The Armageddons gonna produce some potent buds. The problem with the pests drilling holes in your power skunk is the same problem my plant had my last 2 growing seasons ago. I used some ant killers and sum onnion peelings around my plant and it fixed the problem. By the way what does the power skunk smell like? just curious!

I'm hoping when i get done with my azamax treatments the worms wont even be an issue. I'd say they smell pretty skunky for sure.:weed:

Well i started another thread to ask if anyone else was growing power skunk because i was curious if anyone was flowering yet....apparently someone said their power skunk has been flowering for like 3 weeks....i'm guessing its maybe the difference in seed company or something. these seeds came from g-13 labs and it said note on the bottom **this is a VERY slow flowering plant but has high yields and a high bud to leaf ratio and must for any grower.... well everything is flowering nicely except for the damn power skunk...I anticipate harvesting the white widow around the end of september; that'll put it at around 7 weeks of flowering... then after that I will take the armageddon cuz that has the same flower period but started flowering about a week after the widow. then after the white widow and armageddon are dried and moved to the curing process, IM HOPING the power skunk will be ready(mid october)....thats the plan everyone!!! ***One question tho... I'm not worried about the Armageddon or widow but the power skunk will be pushing into mid october i'm thinking.......FROST comes to mind....If i got a frost would that be bad? I've heard frost triggers the plant to make resin like crazy....but I've also heard dont let frost hit it and also heard that you should harvest after the first good frost....what can you tell me about frost.....
