6' SSH plant taking too long to flower can I put outside (june)

I've got a Super silver haze plant in my ebb n gro. I have harvested the White rhino, lemon skunk and big bang. But this ssh plant is huge and has tons of very tiny buds but it has been in my system for 11 weeks and looks like it will take 11 more. I am going to pull it, but just wondering if I can put it outside. Will this continue to grow all summer into a mammoth? It is already 6' x 3' in a 2 gallon pot. I've never grown outside and need some advice. Could I put it in my back yard garden and cover it during the day keeping it at 12/12 or would it be better to plant in a remote spot and hope for a huge plant in the fall?

yeah grow a beast. covering it is hard, light leaks, wind, and no moving air means mold.

find a spot and put her in the ground, or only put her out 12 hours a day then into a dark closet

Thanks for your replies and taking your advice. I found a spot yesterday and went and dug holes and put in soil moist and amended the soil, taking the "beast" out today and replanting outside.

11 weeks into flowering.....I doubt if it's going to back into full vegg. Sounda like bad Genetics to me...ssh should be finished in 8-10 weeks max.

you're probably right wheezer. I got them from Greenhouse Seeds. The other one was a runt and never grew over 5". This one is gigantic and has tons of bud sites but won't finish. I'm throwing it outside anyway to see what happens.

Hey everyone, I planted that outside right after my last post. It looked pitiful at first, dropping leaves, but I kept it watered and fertilized, and man you should see that thing now! It is 7 ft tall x 4' with tons of branches, and putting more bud sites on it. I just hope I can continue to grow this thing in my backyard without the neighbors smelling it. They can't see it at least. I live in Michigan and have the prescription to grow, but it has to be in a "locked facility". I put a lock on my chain link fence that goes around my garden, I hope that is good enough. The law hasn't been tested yet, as Michigan just passed the law last year.

I would only plant SSH outside, I had another one that I tried to keep going inside, but that took 19 weeks, and it didn't produce enough to make it worth the wait. It had tons of buds, but they were small. Probably because the plant was so big and had to share a 1000w with 4 other plants. Excellent smoke though.

awesome. did it start revegging? or does it still seem to be flowering?

Yes, this guy revegged. It is now just starting to flower again. It is HUGE, (probably at least 9 to 10 feet) it would have grown even more, but I had it in a shady spot between my shed and my 20' tall informal wild hedge between me and neighbor. Since it is so wild and shrubby over there, i've had people walk right up to it and not notice it. No smell yet, but I'm kind of worried now that this thing is going to smell too strong next month. Just bought 40 acres and wondering if it is too late to dig this up and transplant it. I do have a legal medical grow, but the law is kind of shady on what constitutes a locked grow area. I did put a lock on my chain link fence to my yard, though.

if u got a medical card, smell doesnt REALLY matter. the only thing u have to worry about is security. if ppl smell it, they can steal it. and if its medical, the cops cant steal it either

Hey everyone, an update on this plant. It is over 12' tall. It must have 100 buds on it. We have had freezing temps, and this thing won't be done till the end of nov. I flowered forever inside, and it is taking forever outside too. It has grown over the top of my shed, but it is place between my shed and a 20' tall shrub dividing my house 7 neighbors. No smell yet either.

This plant is so big, I can't fit it in the camera, I tried taking pictures, but I just have an old sony mavica that doesn't take the best pics. It is sideways, and I can't figure out how to spin it around. There is one pic in this that I can't get off the screen, disregard that one. Sorry, newbie to uploading pics.


MVC-019S.JPGI also threw another plant out with it that only had one leaf on it after harvesting, and I'm going to get about 5 oz off of it. Who knew reveg was so easy? Why throw the plant away if you can throw it outside?

I've got the same problem with mines. Very small buds still. I wonder if its just shitty GH genetics or they are suppose to take this long?

nah bro, i grew SSH, mine went 16 weeks of flower. i ended up harvesting a branch at a time since the ripe buds were uneven. some done, some still growing tons of white hairs out...crazy strain, great smoke though.
