So im now i. My 6th week im finally started to notice actual bud formation..but ive noticed the tops of one of my babies is getting very light green. I heard this happens during flowering. But I think they got too hott though cuz the light was pretty close yesterday I moved it up tho. They are in ffof with micro and bloom nutes. Im hoping we will be done within the next 2-4 weeks. Im not chopping early I will wait. Just a guess this is the furthest ive ever gotten. more brown hairs on the lower buds.
Question if mine arent heavily nuted when should I start flushing? If even necessary? And how do I know what to look for when I need to flush? Im getting closer to the end and just dont want to mess things up. Also ive been reading up on leaving the light off for 24 hrs before you chop.

i dont get it, you said 6th week and you noticed buds start forming? some of those buds look huge dude!

I dont flush, i just stop feeding them nutes around the time when about 3/4 trichromes are cloudy, then 2 weeks later, i check trichromes again, at this point they should be cloudy/amber then i stop feeding completely (no water, or anything). after about 4 days, the soil is dry. then i turn off lights for 24-36 hours, then harvest. that last week of starving completely helps use up the rest of the juices and the buds begin to dry a bit before harvest.

Your looking really good man, get a magnifying glass, and start figuring out a place to hang them

I wouldn't flush at all, its a plant not a toilet! I would make sure you have a low humidity and let the soil dry out just before harvest to increase resin production. Flushing is a myth about improving flavor but proper drying and curing is where the flavor is controlled. Happy growing!

No seriously,

flush with 2 weeks to go, unless you want to smoke plants that taste like chemicals. It happens, not a myth.

God im so scared about the cutting/drying/curing process I see so many ppl mess up there. But ive been reading up on it sounds pretty easy. I have a friend bringing me a bunch of mason jars. So excited to see how much I get. Nick thank for always helping btw. And yeah Ive been seeing tons of white hairs before just no bud forming. Maybe I was confused as to what to look for. Has anyone heard anything about reharvesting after you cut it? Ive only heard one person talk about this.
