6 Weeks Flowering: Smoke Sample a Disappointment

Hey guys. I couldn't resist taking a sample from my blackjack that's about 6 weeks into flowering. I pinched off a bud, dried it for a couple days however it was not completely dry. The bud was sticky and there were quite a bit of trichomes. With my pipe I was able to get some smoke inhaled but sadly I didn't feel much. I'm not actually sure if I felt anything. What's up with this?

The trich haven't reached the potency level, its just too early to really get anything good out of it that early.
