6 weeks into flower, got 3 weeks left before i move. Gonna fatten?

so im 6 weeks into flower and im moving at the end of the month. so im harvesting on the 28th of july. will my buds fatten up by then? i noticed they are starting to really fatten up. i just hope it will be ready by the time i move so ill have some good smoke.

I'm on my first grow and I'm almost 6 weeks into flowering. (3 weeks after sex showed) and this post just made me feel much better about my plant. No bud yet, do you remember exactly what week your plant started to fatten up with buds? Mine has crazy pistil action all over, just waiting on the bud production.

ohh bro check out my grow on my sig, go to some of the last pages you ll see my buds grow over time. it happens kinda fast. you got a grow up? let me see what you mean?

when i left 6/15 to go to vegas i came back at 6/18 and my plants had white hairs everywhere. then the next week i started getting good buds so thats the 25 of last month, so about 4 weeks bro is when they start to get bigger

I honestly don't even know how much bud my plant will produce. Not even the slightest idea.

they will fatten up but not sure how much under on cfl's tho...

ohh i commented on your questions bro

Just curious is there a reason y u guys don't wait for ur plant to show sex during veg and then put it into flowering. I think if u do it that way ur plants will start to bud alot faster than if u put it to 12/12 b4 u even know if its male or female. I waited till both my plants had preflowers till I switched them over to flowering and this is the result after only 2 weeks @ 12/12. Well besides the moving thing of course, but hey if ur plants r in pots u could always just get some of those big ass black trash bags and put ur plants(alive in pots of course)in there if its a short move that is, not outta state.

I grow 12/12 from seed also, and i dont grow in pots i grow in 5 gallon buckets dwc and i top so i have huge bushes i cant take with me. thanks for the input tho

Oh really? See, the book I originally had when I started growing in April told me to let em' veg out before flowering them. Does this effect the plant at all? Or just the amount of bud sites?

i find it dumb, just flower once its 1-2 months old, once you flower it will show the little white hair and ull know if its a female or male. and the amount of bud sites depends on the strain and if you top or fim the plants, not by how much you veg it. it will only go taller witch most people dont want.

Not at all, I have to disagree with this, here I only showed a close up of my plant but lemme show u the full view this is when I vegged my plant until it showed sex and preflowers b4 I put it over to 12/12. I supercropped it so its only at about 2ft now since I'm limited on grow space.

well my pllants not much smaller then that and my plants only 2 months old. so thats why you would flower 12/12 from seed. short cycles

Well I guess u and me will just have to agree to disagree cause I still think if u let ur plants veg until they show preflowers will help u get the full potential out of ur plants. U have to remember too my plants have only been on a 12/12 cycle for 2 weeks now so I'll post more pics here in a month so we can get a better comparison on our ways of growing. Lol DJ if ur really DJ Burn and u live in Socal I'm laugh my ass off, I only say that cause he has a very similar dog.

Nice looking plant(s) 'dvs', very Nice! What strain is that? the leaves look very unique. I also agree with you, vegging 1st seems to be more on the natural nature side of things. I'm not saying that 12/12 won't work as I wish to try it someday but it's more natural when vegging 1st. When vegging 1st I noticed that you will continue to grow 'new growth' areas for more bud sites and when I started the flower cycle it continued to grow in height but no more new growth sites appeared. So I have no idea how that works for 12/12 start2finish.
Number 1 question, how in the hell 0r heavens do you obtain a hard stem and 0r branches? I've bn growing my plant since Apr and only my base(very bottom) is wood hardened-the rest is green. Maybe it was due to me using a fluorescent light(T5) rather than MH, hmmmm!
And my very top of the plant got weakened I believe after placing to close to light one time. My 'top' started out nice but now is the smallest bud site? Well, I'm not going to take credit for what I say because one of my partner's old friends came by and noticed our setup and gave us some advice:

He said that blowing fans on your plants will strengthen the root system and the stalk because the plant's working on facing the light.

Perhaps this is true?

I agree with some vegging rather than just 12/12 from seed. Both work, but even if you do 12/12 from seed it still won't flower until its got the foundations in place. By vegging for 2 weeks to a month before flowering, you will get a bigger yield for obvious reasons. I think the 12/12 from seed is ideal for sea of green grows, so its not for everone. Do what works for you

Some breeze on the stalks is good, just not permanent (ie the fan oscillates, so blows on then off across the foliage etc, but gently), it forces the stems to work harder to support the plant, very gently, so the stalks get stronger/thicker, just like the muscles on your arm. More you work them, the stronger they get.

This might be just me, but in the pic it looks like you will have lots of seeds, but very little to smoke. I am not sure I would worry too much about trying to keep the plant going, unless you want all the seeds...
You aren't going to see what you are looking for in 3 weeks, or it would be closer at 6...what lights are you using? I am going to guess CFLs...

and there is no reason for the fan to not blow directly on the plants all the time...as long as the plants are getting blown they will strengthen and it is moving air...
