6 Weeks into flowering, and all I have is white pistils...

Is it at all possible that light is leaking in through some ducting/window or the likes?

If it's totally dark they should be laden with bud, even the flicker of a light is enough to stop the dark period taking affect, you need 10/11hrs of uninterrupted dark.
That's what is boggling me. I do have lights on in my room when it goes off in there, but I have no light leak areas except the exhaust vents at the back, and they have fans attached.

It all sounds right enough its a bit of a head fk???

What I would do (I've done) is make light baffle box/boxes for the inlet/exhaust, or a piece of ducting added then facing somewhere dark.
Also I'd also bypass the timer and switch it on/off manually for 2 weeks.
I'd try to test the timer with a table lamp or something that obvious to see any issues.

Trust me, I checked the timer fully, as I can see if the light is on from the exhaust outlet, clocked it even, and It is absolutely not faulty.

Cut the plant down to a more manageable size, and switch to 10hr on and 14off
But then I would lose the bud sites. I have absolutely no clue if it would suddenly start flowering one night, (I read that has happened with quite a few folks, overnight flowering), And I am really getting tired with this. Have some Gelat OG Seeds for the next grow, which is an indica dominant strain. But it would be a shame to end this one abruptly after 12+ weeks of hard work....

Also, even if it is just into preflower, would I still get the aroma? Because I am getting faint odors, which smell citrussy....

I’m guessing your timer is broken. It may be coming in the middle of the night for an hour or two or something stupid. It happened to me once, went downstairs at like 2 am too see my cabinet lit up. Nearly had a coronary lmao

Unless you have sat for 12hrs you can't rule out the timer, even a flicker (apparently) is enough to stop the process.
If you do it manually you remove the guess work.

This is the timer that I use, and it has been running without any errors, I have checked it completely.
