@Professor:
Great post. Thank you!

I am a bit confused about the clone size. You said:

From a two in clone I will generally harvest a cola of around 3 feet in hieght and 2 to 3 ounces in yield.
What's a 'two in clone' and how big are the clones when you start flowering them?

Thanks

two inches and he flowers them at 2 inches. no veg at all.

Mr.Football is exactly right. The clones I am putting into flower are 2 to 3 inches tall after they have rooted. Maybe a good time to touch on cloning. A lot of people I speak with have trouble cloning for some reason, most often just bad info I think. When I am cloning I do so under T-5's and cone in rapid rooters KISS, cloning machines are fine if you want to spend the money but they are just another thing to go wrong, a sprinler clogs, you forget to turn the pump on, power failure, etc. I place my clones on a cement floor with a fan blowing around the trays. Clones want to be cool, not warm as many believe. I make my final cut using a "SHARP" pair of trimming cutters or a razor and immediately dip into a quality cloning gel then place in the rapid rooter. When the tray is full I water with a weak soultion of water and Olivias. You want them to remain moist throughout. Lights on 24 during clning until they pop. I take my clones from the lowest part of the mother, the clones are an exact copy so the older the branch you clip from the older the clone, or more mature. I FIM my mothers throughout to produce more viable clones. The sun or shade leafs on my clones are trimmed back half way. The less energy a clone has to spend feeding leafs the more it has to fuel root production. Also, I flush my mothers to cleanse nitrogen from the plant, flowering nutes will better support root production then the vegging nutes used on mothers. Hope that helps

Sorry zvuv, I'll try and be a bit more specific. Trying to get as much in with the time I have, probably better off trying to make things understandable lol

Also if you go to the pictures on my facebook page "Dana Kirk May" you can see one of the systems in the middle of the grow. I believe the picture there is of plants 30 days old from two "inch" clones lol

Hmmm - I think I'm going to have to try this and see what happens! I'm not able to PM -- If I have a question Professor will you help out?

View attachment 1751390(click on attatchment, not sure how to post the pic. I grow POT not computers)I would be honored to help any of you who have questions. I feel I am at a place where I have a duty to share knowledge and insight to those who seek help. I was dissillusioned with agendas, polotics, and ego's in the cannabis community and went underground. I have since decided that we shouldn't allow others to dictate how I opperate or who I help. So perhaps I will start a post in newbies called Prof Mj's 45 day grow so I can field questions.

Anyone can successfuly grow using the technique I use. It does take a bit of thought however, knowledge, equipment, attention to detail, environment, etc... Having said that, if you are interested enough to learn what you're doing you can be successful growing this way. I have mentioned before that my beginning students that I mentor have average right arounf 5 lbs their first grow having no previous experience. I have had yields twice that in 43 days. Here's what I'll do, I will start a thread in newbies called Professor Marijuana's 45 day grow where I will field questions. Hopefully Rollitup is cool with that. I am also happy to field other questions unrelated to this topic. I ask only that when the occasion presents itself you give freely of yourself to those in need. Cool?

The photo shown is of two 60 stations. This is just a garrage grow of mine so isn't at the standards of one of my commercial facilities. It shows that it can be done at home with the restrictions faced. The grow is 30 days into the grow from 2 inch clones. That particular grow went 50 days, the color is off due to the HPS lighting. Less then 100sq ft and ceilings just under 8'

I never get tired of looking at your pics, del... there's something magical and wonderful about your grows :-P

My 12/12 didn't work, and it took longer than 60 days anyway. I yielded less than a eighth off one plant and the other is still going. FML

Next grow I'm vegging for sure. I know I can yield 2 oz in about the same time w/ a month of veg.
Was going thru some posts I hadn't read yet. First, 12/12 isn't a gray area that works sometimes and not others. If cannabis receives 12 hours uninterupted dark it WILL flower, PERIOD. Some reasons you may explore for yours not flowering could be, a leak in the room that is allowing light to get in during it's dark period, or, somebody is openning the door to take a peek, or if multiple lights a timer could be out of sync. Cannabis is a "long night photoperiodic" plant, when it receives 12 hours continous dark IT WILL FLOWER. Even if it gets 20 hours of light as long as there's 12 of dark it's going to flower. Also the number of days it takes is entirely dependent on the strain. The fastest I've grown is 43 days and have had some take twice that long and more. Indica's take half the time and yield twice as much as Sativa's. I prefer Sativa's for my use but know that it will require more of an investment in time. For my pain Indica's work best, recreationaly I'm a Sativa man. A far as your yields you might be surprised to learn how little most indoor growers yield on average. If you check out my avatar, those buds were like superhuman buds, still blows me away how big they were, not sure I have ever seen bigger ones in my entire life. I hear lots of people say they have seen bigger but haven't seen them as of today. Those buds came from plants under 4' in fact they couldn't have been over 3 feet tall now that I recall the room and growing medium. They vegged less then 45 days and each plant yielded far over a lb dried and manicured. Yield has a lot more to do with things besides vegging. The buds in the picture of my grow are close to 2 oz's after a total of only 30 days growing. Spend the time to learn what effects your yield and you will see a noticable increase. Time well spent. Good luck
