60 watt sun glo bulb

Hey everyone i was wondering if you would be kind enough to answer my query for pc stealth grow ( journal to come soon)the interior of the pc in lined with mylar reflection and im pretty sure i have everyelse sorted :)
I currently have a 60 watt sun glo bulb ( formerly used for my reptile tank) would this light be efficient for growing 1 lowryder plant? the interior of the pc in lined with mylar reflection and im pretty sure i have everything else sorted :)
or should i fork out the money for a cfl and what would you reccomend?

well what is the color temp? 2700k 4100k 6500k?? but if its something like 2700k the veg might take a bit longer but it will be happy in flowering.

maybe you could get another cfl and use a splitter or something. a 42w they are like 10$

This bulb is an incandescent isn't it? They're not meant for plants, and they produce lots of heat. Get cfls. You can get a 4 pack of 26w 6500k at Home Depot for 10 bucks, and can probably be found cheaper if you look around.

thanks ill look into getting the cfls, but would this be alright for sprouting the seed from the pot? its already germinated
Also would all purpose fish bone nutrient be ok ? or is it best to buy what i need and can any one inform me of a good soil mix? ive heard lots about coco but need to look into it.

I have also a sun glow bulb for reptiles but its 75w and it said that it could grow plants but I also was wondering if it would work for marijuana?

It could, but i think you would want something else aswell, I put oneof those 26w uvb bulbs in with my setup. I'm hoping that it may help push trichs, and if nothing else it helps mimic real sunlight.
