600 watt hps = 90,000 lumens
1000 watt hps = 150,000 lumens (growbright)
Which means BOTH of them give you 150 lumens per watt... So what am I missing?
I've been reading time and time again about how efficient 600 watt HPS are and how some people love them and would never get 1000 watters, simply because the 600s offer more lumens per watt... Now I do understand that the 1000 watters will get hotter, which will require bigger fans and cooling and need to be further away from the canopy, but why does everybody talk about lumens per watt? They are the same with the right bulb. Doesn't the penetration of the 1000 watter more than make up for the longer distance from the canopy? Regardless, I am going big with the 1000 watter
