Good fire oz's at upper end dispensaries in Bay Area usually fetch between 300 ~ 400 $ but it is near perfect and that is on the retail level selling in small quantities mostly. Elemental Wellness in SJ oz's of upper end run 420$ plus tax or 60$ 1/8.. Anything fetching those kind of prices is upper end and some nice dank grown right .

That is all retail over the counter, taxed in dispensaries though. Good growers with some serious fire can fetch about 1/2 that or north of 3000$ / elbow but every single bud in that pound has to be top terminal near perfect buds or it will be rejected. Anything on the streets is about 2500$ for some fire. I laugh at any growers who sell nice indoor for less, they should be walked all over ..

Back in about 2002~2004 LA clubs would pay 6000 for elbows of grandaddy purple when it first came out. LA and So Cal used to pay bank for elbows, same with Bakersfield. Clubs in Bakersfield would buy almost anything for 4000~4500 elbow or more, back in that era, but not now.

About 2009 ~10 prices started to drop from about 32~4000$ lb wholesale, down to about 2500~3400 max. I do not see much of anything nowadays less than 2500 in central CA for some serious fire. If it is less than that, the grower should be walked all over and lowballed for being such a bitch. I think the prices stabilized at 2500 for many reasons, but they never really went lower for some fire, and the quality standards went way up ..

The wholesale dropped in CA because of the influx and sheer number of new growers. It used to be a risky business. One did not want to get caught with even a 4 ~ lighter back then.. Now it seems its a soccer mom activity to have 10 or more lights.

The wholesale end and street prices are what dropped, the retail dispensary end stayed about the same for the most part..

Outdoor and anything sub par cannot fetch anything near that. Strains like blue dream are not going to fetch that either. In order to get decent money it has to be some GSC, OG, GG4 , some nice purple, or some trendy in demand exotic strain that is grown right. Nowadays pesticide and mold screenings are the norm.

It is not hard to find an old pound of subpar from a desperate grower on craigslist for a lot less. Anything subpar is hard to sell, and if it is the wrong strain it is hard to sell.

Greenhouse skills are coming up too and one can find nice greenhouse for less though..

I was in CA a few months back and my cousin got a pound for$2800, and another for $3,150. Dispensaries are too pricy $300 for an oz or $420 should be getting 2 oz for $400 $6000 for a lb Is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too much for 1 lb whoever pays that much is missing a lot of screws.
