Well I'm just like you when it comes to overkill. Everything I have is design for a room much larger. With the filter outside the tent and pushing air into it hasn't gave me a problem so far but I will expect some during the summer months. Right now it keeps the outer room about 72 and inside the tent is about 75 - 77. I have two Max 8" fans rated at 675 cfm each which is extreme overkill for both rooms. The split in the room has cardboard sealed with plastic and mylar on both sides. I didn't want to spend the extra money for shipping two tents so I decided to make two from one. So far so good on the light leaks but who's to tell in the upcoming months. I zip myself up once a week just to make sure there or no leaks in my flowering room. Gorilla tape is my new best friend now since I've used so much of it... lol. Everything looking good so far on you end. Will redesign after my harvest in two weeks.

how long do you keep your light on and off during germination, vegging, and flowering
i ran clones i received from a fellow MM patient...when i first got the gals i was gonna veg at 22/2, but i felt they werent responding well (and a mix of natural nute burn from the soil hit) and i think it does more wear and tear to your bulb and ballast to turn them on and off so frequently so i switched to a 18/6 3 days into vegg and vegged 10 days more (till about 15" or so each with the exception of the runts)...switched to 12/12 to flower

...soooooooo short answer,

18/6 veg...12/12 flower...pretty standard

If you are going to do them small and close together you should trim all the branches off before flower so that you end up with singl cola plants. Right now you arent getting much light to the bottoms of the plants, its too crowded. I have the exact same set up as you, and do 20 plants too. Also Are you leaving your exhaust fan on all night, because it gets humid in those tents, especially when you have it as crowded as you do.

my fan runs 24/7 on a low setting...consistently at 45% humidity inside the tent...i dont like to trim off anything that isnt close to dead already...

to me, cutting makes you gotta deal with shock and the plant doesnt absorb as much light because of the lack of healthy leaves...

...the top colas are getting just as much light as if i were to cut the branches below them so i dont really care...(and i'll get small bottom colas in addition to the top bud rather then one giant cola)

i appreciate the tip...plan to switch everything up next grow though...cut down to putting two in a week...perpetual LST..

peace
