600w hps grow?

I was wondering how many plants i would be able to fit under a 600 watt hps system? I have a 10' by 10' room avalible.

It's not really about how many plants it about the space but 600w will heat a 6x6 area as long as the plants are underneath and not too far away

alright thats too much. what about a 400 watt in a 4x4 closet? i wana get the biggest yield possible. maybe white widow? how many plants could i fit in there? about three weeks veg..

My set up is actually 4 Hydroponics under a 400w in a 4x4 space so that should be fine. To achieve a high yield with white widow get it under a fluro light untill they veg and then you might want to add a few lights to the side of the plant as it grows this helps the plant get more light and therefore grow faster. i would keep it to a max of 4 plants if you are using only one light though.

so what should i expect for yield with a single 400w hps for flwr, and 3 weeks of veg with cfl. 4 plants, most likely ww.

For a 600 I would not exceed an 5x5 area 4x4 is even better. If you are not limited on height I would veg for at least a month our until they show pre-flowers. 9 to 12 plants would be good for flowering under a 600. Once you get your surrounding optimal and the right strain you can pull near a pound or more.
