600w sog- CFM Question

hey, my next grow will be 4x 150hps, 2 x ballasts running on a flip-flop timer, and 2 -2x4 tents(300w running 24/7).
I will have 4 tents in total, 3, 2x4,s ( 1 for mothers/veg/clone-T5 for lighting) and 2 for flowering, and a 3x3 tent for drying.

So therefor i would need to run 4 fans, and 4 carbon filters, orr is there any reason i couldnt run the veg, 1 of the flowering tents, and the dry tent, on a 360cfm fan split into 3, (120cfm)
drawing from a 90cfm carbon filter in every tent, then run a seperate 120cfm fan for the other flowering room.

is 120cfm too much for a 90cfm rated carbon filter? i have a speedster controller...
and will 120cfm be enough to cool 2x 150 hps, or does anyone have any other ideas for cooling 4 small boxes, and smell.

Ill fill you in a bit...
Strain: Nebula
Mothers:2 (take 8 clones from each every 2 weeks)
choose 12 rooted clones, veg for 1 week
choose 9 clones, move into 12/12.

SO every 2 weeks i will harvesting 9 clones in 1 gallon square pots, Going with 150watts beacuse i will only be running 300watts +T5 and fans 24/7 yet harvesting around 1/4 # every 2 weeks.

Mostly looking for help with fans but any input is appreciated!

it's really hard to tell what's going to do it for a given space because of all of the variables.

ambient house temperature, are conditioning in the house, seasons etc

typically it is best to just get what you think might be overdoing it

because you really can't over do ventilation. however it is incredibly easy to under do it

circulation is another story. you want your plants to be receiving a light breeze most of the time. nothing more than a calm gust in nature

you can wind burn your plants. but as mentioned, the more air moving in and out of the room the better

Okay thanks, with that in mind, i think it would be wise to use the 360cfm fan for the 2 2x4 tents, 180cfm each, and use my fan controller? i could run 2 of the 90cfm carbon filters per tent.
then for veg and dry tent a 240 cfm, 120 cfm each? I just really didnt want to have 4 seperate fans.

having a big beefy fan with a fan controller is my favourite way to deal with inconsistent heat in a room

you have the power but don't need to use it all if you don't need to. same concept as a dimmable ballast

just make sure there's a fan on each tent or grow space.

what signs would wind burning show on a plant?
i dont know what hes talking about wind burning, i have had pretty weak plants under a strong osolating fan, only thing that happens for me is stronger fatter stems...

Running a carbon filter under it's rated cfm is also advisable. More efficient on smell and extends the life of the filter. A 240-360 cfm per 2x4 would be overkill but if you are going to run sealed hoods or cool tubes, you can use the same fan for light cooling and carbon scrubbing. One fan per tent and done.

thanks for the input, since im running 2x150s or 250s per tent, i think 120cfm wouldnt be enough to cool 2 lights and pull air through a carbon filter, so should i use a 240cfm fan per tent on a speedster controller? the reason im thinking 120, 240, or 360 cfm is i want to use panasonic whisper fans, they are very quiet. im open to suggestions though.
any reason why i shouldnt use a 360 cfm and a Y for 2 tents, thats 180 cfm each, less fans=less watts and less $
thanks

Kinda changed my plan, Going to hold off on the sog untell i have a sealed room built. 4x400 watts on a flipper, 3x3 ebb and flow tray per light, rez for every 2 trays(harvest 2 trays every 2 weeks)
-running 1600 watts of ballast 24/7-8 lights in total.
-Will be running a co2 gen and humidifier/dehumifier, AC, Carbon filter and fan running inside the box, no intake or exaust vents.

I will have climite controllers and have the rooms kept at a constant 78day/68night- is that correct?

I decided to wait beacuse i will be moving within a year and i wouldnt have any space in the shop to move around.
Although i will be running 2x400's over the winter for moms, they will be on 24/7 and set up with a fan thermostat to keep room at a solid 78? Will i have any temp problems over the winter when it gets cold? i am going to insulate, seal, and poly a 10x4x8 section of the shop for moms for next years season, indoor strains i am keeping, and cuttings.
Any Input?
Thanks
