600w user needs help :(

i can pull 16 oz per 600w hood but that is with clones from proven mothers. that is in organic soil with no liquid nutes and no co2 enrchment. in my opinion 8 plants is too many for a 600w. in my main budroom i put 6 plants under 2x600w hps and train the plants into a canopy that is 8x5.

hi everyone. i have done a few grows and have bought more equip for a large grow but want to finish my current grow before rushing into another. i am growing 5 ams, 5 big budah cheese, 2 white widow and 2 crystal silver haze and i took 18 cuttings 5 days ago, i have a 600w dual spectrum in a 120 x 120 x 200cm high tent. i have 9 inch oscilating fan and a 6 inch ruck inline extrator, i am at week 5 from seed and my ladies range from 12 inch to 15 inch so decided to put them into flower. i recently invested in a ph pen and the results from using it are a god send. all the ladies are in 7.5 litre pots of plant magic soil and a 1/5 of sand. i do turn pots regulary and move the light regulary to get even light distribution. i intend on on trimming the bottom third off each plant as soon as they stop stretching, they were put into flower today. i guess what im asking is how much yeild should i expect and am i expecting to much off a 600w ? ive read things about having more than 8 under a 600w isnt good well any tips/advice or suggestions apprieciated. ps il post pics as soon as i figure how to get them off my wildfire to sd card then to ps3 lol. peace
