Go with a 600w for that size of space unless you have a room that you can manage the climate of 1000w with ventilation and extraction set up.in a 4x4 room with 6 plants would using a 1000w HPS instead of a 600w hps dramaticaly increase my yeild or is it not worth using 1000w for 6 plants??
cooling isnt a problem there going to be in cool hoods/tubes and cost to run dosnt matter either im just interested in the yeild difference, any other thoughts on the matter??
Yes if you can buy 3 1000w lamps and control the environment/climate thats fine as i said before the more lights = more bud.lol or 2 600W spread the love out a little.
yeh i will be having a seprate veg room, it will be done with cfls then flower with hps, any thoughts on 2 400watts?perfect size for a 1000 watt light, but if you don't already have a separate veg and flower room i would divide the space.
love the enthuiasm but i ent spending that much lolor 4 600w at alternting levels. lol
two 400 watt lights would give you just under 7,000 lumens per square foot - a very good amount of light.yeh i will be having a seprate veg room, it will be done with cfls then flower with hps, any thoughts on 2 400watts?
More light for more bud is true up too a point. A plant can only use so much light. A 600 would cover the 4x4 space nicely. A 1000 even better. In my opinion if your plan is to always grow in a 4x4 area, then the 600. What it would cost to run and cool a 1000 vs the additional yield in that size space, not worth it.Yes if you can buy 3 1000w lamps and control the environment/climate thats fine as i said before the more lights = more bud.
what he saidlol or 2 600W spread the love out a little.
