64 Days Are They Ready Yet?

I have some OG Kush that have been flowering for 64 days and was wondering if they are ready. They are growing in a BC Northern Lights Bloombox. It seams as if they could go longer, but how much. Here are some pics under magnification.

Hard to tell those still seem pretty clear. Id ride it out 5-7 more days.keep an eye on it, depends on the high you want. I'm sure you already know the difference milky and amber. I like mine about 10% amber but its only about what you prefer. Good job enjoy your hard work.

Thanks Malicifice, this is my first real harvest and am just looking for any advice. It just seems as if they are taking a while for the trichomes to do their thing. I just cut part of one of the colas and will dry it out for a sample. Another thing is they aren't very stinky? Any suggestions for additives while I finish the flush?

Yeah, they still look pretty clear. You say they are 64 days but is that of 12/12 or since you saw the first signs of sex. I'd give 'em another week, it couldn't hurt. They still got white hairs on 'em?

64 days of 12/12 ain't long enough. At least IME. They probably first showed signs of sex at around day 10 of 12/12 so that makes them 54 days of flowering. So you figure you got at least a week or two left.

Lets plants go as long as you can, depending on what strain. Some plants go 10-12 weeks til they are done. Recently had a Kushage that went 16 weeks... bomb smoke though. Just not familiar with OG Kush.

forget trichomes. when your calyxes have 'swollen' and hairs start receding your crop is ready.

every strain has a different finishing time keep checking everyday. some people prefer clear and cloudy some people prefer 25% amber. they say the more clear the trics the more uplifting, the more amber the more stonier the buzz. i let my ww go 50% amber

lol.. actualy man.. id say go by breeder/trichs.. ive had swollen calyxs for the last 2 weeks.. and if i would of harvested .. id have all clear trichs and barely any weight caust it puts on weight later in the cycle

Id defo leave it for another two weeks at least. Are the leaves a nice green still? Any signs of the foilage starting to die off? I crop around 20% amber. Does take a while tho. I have cropped all milky and half clear half milky but amber is the way fwrd(for me) as it seems that my buds are lot better in general overall when theres amber trics at harvest time.

They're slowly getting there. Anybody ever grow Diavolo auto flower? What kind of yield and smoke? I have one about 5 weeks and it is incredible looking to me. Gonna post some pics

There's always debates about when to harvest. When trichs are cloudy, some amber, or when the receding hairs and swollen calyxes.

It's all up to the person growing. Whatever, they like. Different harvest times/strains for different types of highs. There's always threads debating when is the perfect time to harvest. It all comes down to personal preference/experience or science/chemistry.
