Im running a recirculating dwc with four plants under each 1000w. Have a veg room so im dumping 45 day vegged plants in every 60ish days. Let me know what ya think!

SUBBED! Just picked up a new location going to be setting up around 50 buckets. What type of yield are you getting per 1000 using only 4 buckets? Looking great bro!

Thanks Bunkin. Been getting average of 8oz dry per plant for ogres on my current set up. Took me years of help from this forum though to get there. Thanks to all here by the way.

I veg for 45 to 50 days. The last two weeks of veg it seems like I top every few days. I change my water every ten days. I use air stones pumping 22L per bucket. When I move them they are usually about 3 feet tall and at the end of flower end up around 6.5 or 7. I use a combination of "super-cropping" and topping to keep them down out of the light. I use Cyco nutrients currently but have had similar results with DM Gold recently..... just hard to come by dm in quantity.
I'm also using heisenbergs formula for tea. Always had root problems in dwc till that thread saved my ass.

This thread literally saved me and mine fro financial ruin...no joke. I tried everything in the book and spent years going back and forth having great rounds then shitty rounds....root problems always came back in the end. Not since tea though. Consistency for years now. Like to hug that dude!!

I hear more and more about this "tea" although i have been using calcium hypoclhorite "pool shock" for years without any root problems. I think I will get the things needed to create this tea just in case something strange happens. what ph and ppm do you find works best for you in dwc? some say lower strength nutes are needed do to roots being submerged 24/7. also can you tell us about your cloning technique? what about some more photos some of your power and wiring

TEA is awesome and definitely worth checking out, especially if you get the dreaded slime.

ive gotten the dread "slime" all required was a good cleaning and a double dose of pool shock to clear it up. I prefer to run a sterile res weather it be the cloner or tables. But it definetly helps to know there is a 2nd proven method. about to go to 8000 watts with about 50 buckets so its always nice to have more than 1 tool in the arsenal.

I will update tomorrow with more wiring, setup and cloner pics. As for ppm and ph I let my plants tell me what they need. I usually enter flowering around 700ppm if my ph rises slowly over the course of a few days then I know im at the right ppm. If ph drops then I lower ppm. I usually end up no higher than 850ppm in the last few weeks before I run straight water the final 7 days. Other strains ive had have been able to take higher nutes. Im waiting for beans to come in from attitude I expect they will ask for higher ppm than ogres. Ordered MrN SSH and also Black domina to try and recover some awsome phenos I had of each back in the day.

Great choice in seeds! I am ordering Mr N critical + as we speak. Starting commercial op looking for some big yielders. what ph meter are you using? Just wondering cuz ppm can be confusing unless you know what conversion your meter uses. .5 or .7 ? posting ppm without posting conversion will leave some guessing. Cant wait for the update and pics!

Sorry thats @.5 conversion. I have a great pheno of critical+ at a place my friend took over from me just that particular pheno doesnt have the yield to keep in my room. Wish I had another pheno that yielded more....may have to copycat you and hunt through some of those. I use Oakton ph meters and bluelab ppm. I keep 2 meters of each calibrated weekly at all times

Here are some wiring pics. My secret identity is in the construction industry so ive paid lots of attention and asked lots of questions over the years to my subs and have learned how to install all the electric and central hvac for my rooms.
That's a 3.5 ton unit with a heatpump and humidistat so I can control humdity. Also have a thermostat with wireless letting me check and control the system online.

Heres pictures of my cloners. I keep temps between 77 and 80. I have heat mats under each unit with a probe sitting in the water monitoring temp constantly. I also use a chiller in the summer. I run the pumps constant no breaks. I change the water every 5 days using nothing but ro water till I show roots. Roots show everytime within 5 to 7 days.

very nice! how much medicine do you get from this op monthly? do keep things rotating in a perpetual fashion? putting the last few pieces together for my first run at buckets/ Cash been running a little low lately. got to hurry and get this thing going before summer heat hits.

I just read through all your posts and threads. You dont look like anyone I would respect the opinion of anyways. Lets see your pics of 2lb plus 1000watt lights . I get 6+ pounds of some of the best medicine my patients have had every month and have pics to prove it. Lets see yours.

Hi ZeroK,

I clicked on your thread to see what new takes/insights a long time grower might be using to push yield.

Hopefully I will bring something new to the conversation that you might find helpful. Feel free to do the same should you visit my thread. For ~ 4 years, I have been working toward maximizing quality and yield, by combining the best elements of hydroponics. I feel I have done that, at least for me. Not trying to jack your thread, but I think you will find it helpful

When using DWC, I, too, had mega slime issues. That led me on a 2 year experiment with a stripped down version of high pressure aero (>100psi) short cycle feedings ~ 3 seconds every 4-5 minutes. Produces some amazing roots, but RH and root chamber tems have to be kept pretty tight tolerances, which is hard to do where I live. Consequently, I was never able to produce anything AWESOME, but I learned a lot.

As I saw it was not going to fit into my style (again due to temp/humidity fluctuations), I started developing a modified system combining elements of hpa, low pressure mist, and F & D, which I ran side by side, using the exact same nutes (DM Gold, full AB line) until 2 grows back when I switched to hydroponic research VEG+BLOOM, a one part dry formula.

Anyway, I eliminated slime, use 1/20th the nutes, which are fed during early veg every 45 minutes for ~ 20 seconds 24/7, though night feeds can be quickly eliminated using a simple analog o/o cycle timer as long as you manually reset it each morning.

If interested feel free to click on my sig, and check it out

In the mean I'll catch up with your thread, but after reading about the slime, I thought you guys might want to know about an alternative

Again, apologies for jumping in here. I promise to be quiet now
