Day 68 - Week 3, Day 6 12/12 (Not so purple)Purple Bud
"Tea" Mixture = win! No foam on it but I asked a friend (non growing) how it smelled and he said liquor lol. Could be worse and far from bad. i quite like the smell of whiskey so im cool with that!TI forgot to mention i took off lst. Also I fed her 1 gallon and about 1/2 gallon terra nova full strength w/ cal mag and more flora blend cause that shit looks weak lol. Seems to love it im starting to see her put on more frost each day pics dont do her justice. I cant stop staring lol. For having about a month to go... am i ever excited! She smells great too, citrus smell for the most part now and berry/sweetness is still there, the skunk is kinda behind it all lol, its nice.

Got 1 Blue Cheese Auto seedling in there as of td and shes looking good. Also am popping 4 beans! Yesterday around 7 i put down one Sensi Purple Bud, 1 Barney's Farm Cookies Kush(Rd. 2 lol), 1 710 Genetics Super Shark and 1 RP Purple OG#18. Today around 7 the purple bud already popped! I believe i am going to wait until tomorrow to plant It at the start of the light cycle, or just before and see how it goes. Heres pics!

Update, Day 79(?) - Week 5 Day 4 Flower for THE MAIN THANG! (Purple Bud ... Pretty sure it's just Sensi's purple kush ... Same genetics except for the sativa in there)
Been a bit since my last update, im going to start doing 3 days so theyre not this long lol. The girl smells amazing, i'm seeing some pretty good frost starting! Temps have been around 95 because of the hps and i feel like im burning IN THE PITS OF F*CKING HELL LOL...... then i look over and see my girl and remember it's actually heaven tho it REALLY doesn't seem that way lol XD Shes coping though and its worth it for the hps sun-shower haha.
I've been feeding with:
1 Gal 1 Gal (Add 1 1/2 tsp Great White + bubble 24 hr every other feeding)
2x Str. GH Flora Nova Bloom 1 1/2 Str HI Brix Molasses
Full Str. GH Flora Blend 1 1/2 Str. Flora Blend
1/2 Str. Botanicaire Pure Blend Tea Full Str Earth Juice Cal Mag
2x Str. Pure Blend Tea
Seems like she could eat more too she beasts it down, drinks all of that before i see any runoff. Idk really if i should be pouring it on, or backing off with the nutes right now so if anyone has an idea about that id love to hear from you! Also, anyone know from what they can tell in the pics if she seems on track for a good harvest? When does the bud really start fattening up?

The Auto Blue Cheese is doing Pretty good and has decent growth for only having the hps spectrum. I think it is time for her fist feeding soon! The Purple Bud and Super Shark took off the most, but i had em very far from the light at first so they stretched and leaned.Got a table so they are and all is good, once my main girls done i can put everythng on the ground again. Since the Purple OG18 sprouted later (after i had table) it didnt stretch as much. I did overwater the cookies kush tho ............ and it died. (LOL!) No luck for me with that strain it seems . I'm going to make a seperate thread for these girls and all future ones after the big one is done. Looks like 12/12 From seed is underway! Pics!

Update, Purple Bud Day 86 Week 6 Day 4 (Day 46) 12/12
Getting closer to that time!!!! I am freakin excited. The girl's upper fan leaves still have that weird browning, and the bud structure looks weird its fatter below the top of the cola ... I fucked many thing up this grow (bad nute plan, light burns, heat/ environment issues) and you can tell by the buds, they don't look how they should at this point it seems ... kinda wimpy / airy . I am pretty sure i wil get her to harvest though so that would be a win on this first grow.. Pretty much all of her pistils are still white and the tricomes are mostly clear with no amber (the modest amount there is lol ... theyre tiny) so i decided to do feed her one last time with half strength, but i ran clean water thru first to get a mini flush on. I think shell go to at least 65 days, so ill start flushing with only light molsses in the water next feed. SHE SMELS AMAZING! Berry/ sweet hits you first and you get that skunky/ shitty smell after lol, its really nice! If each cola pulls just over 10g average then i should be up around 90 gs!!! Heres hopin!

Theyre alive! Had a huge accident where some pots ended up upside down ... gotta remember to keep my plants INSIDE the post lol ... started with a more sturdy surface to hold em up After the spill they are ok, no major casualties just some stunted plants most likely. All are showing signs of n deficiency so I fed with early growth strength of Flora Nova and a drop or 4 of cal mag. The Auto BC is flowering already haha! Itll be so damn tiny should be cool though I am going to finish off the purple, Finish off these 4 started about a month ago, finish the 5 im going to start for the cup comp then Re- set and fill my whole closet with some firrrrrrre genetics I got on the way It's all truckin along! Update Purple Bud Day 90 Week 7 Day 1 (Day 50) 12/12
And now we're into the harvest window, andd i can say for sure she gonna be on the longer end of things. Buds are making mad progress and shes got about 14"-17" colas on each branch full of buds, then some scragglier shit under that. Frost is getting thicker too! I'm going to see if a double harvest would be a good idea to finish those small ones up, ill see soon. Watered with 1/2 Str Flora Blend and a low dose of Hi Brix, It is very light looking going in and comes out darker so i know im flushing some old stuff out. Nowhere near as frosty as majority of what i se but shes improving, the definiton of a late bloomer lol. Getting a wardrobe box or similar for drying, possibly another for a veg space ... we'll see!

Auto blue is doing great, about foot or so tall now and still stretching! Flowering damn fast it seems .. pretty cool! I fucked up all my other plants, fed em too early i think/ knocked em all over and now have both nute burn and nitrogen deficiencies it looks like. I'm going straight water for a bit on everything to see if i can get it right ... looking bad though atm.

LOL, You can see em all cozy there Got 2 Shuteye x Polar Bear OG from greenpoint, 1 U-Pink Kush from Dr Underground, 1 Blue OG From G-13 Seeds(?) all into cups and 1 Dinafem Dinachem that hasnt went into its cup yet. All fiyaaa. The greenpoint beans were first to crack, and The 1st Shuteye x PBOG is the 1st plant to sprout, ill get to see who's second @ lights on today! Looking forward to these plants, gotta make sure theres No hiccups. SO EXCITED FOR MY NEXT FULL RUN THO! Got 10 Lemon Fizz x StarDawg, 10 ONYCD x PBOG and 10 92 OG Kush Florida Cut X PBOG on the way as well as the 8 Shuteye x PBOG I have! Going with all Greenpoint and trying my luck, CRAZY PRICE for CRAZY DANK. Bringin' Top Dawg to the Lowly Mutt LOL. I mean look at some of his gear grown out its NUTS. $35 a pack ($26after discounts)!????? YUP. One keeper from each and itll be worth it. bet ill get much more than that though Gu~ is awesome to deal with too, A+ on customer service! Sooner than later lol! PB doin her thing, most branches feel real heavy when you shake them... definitely god time to flush, I'm seeing pistils die off in the midle of the plant. Shes still puttin new ones out too tho. Looks happier after i flushed, 99% sure that I burned her. Less is more in the future maybe. One of her 3 node colas she had looks all mutated, its a 3 headed monster lol! Should be fun to trim ............ (definitely will this time tho). I'm definitely learning from these plants now to apply it going forward! 1st I want to get these cup girls RIGHT!

Update, Day 101 F/S | Week 8 Day 5 (DAY 61!!!) 12/12 (and other things ..)

Looking tastier by the day and those colas are just working, in a few more days they are mine for the taking! Really the last stretch, I wonder if shes going to go the full 65 ... definitely possible! There's a good amount of white pistolas up top but that's changing fast. Not much amber on her though, shes mostly cloudy like most rooms i'm in during my free time lol. its been so fun so far, but the real fun's just starting!

Update, Day 108 F/S | Week F#CKING 9 Day 5 (Day 70) 12/12 ... and still kicking ...
So much for 50 - 65 days... showed pistils first day 12/12... I was hoping she was done on time.
Took a sample and quick dried using the top of toaster oven, dried to .5 .. it god damned seeded or herm'd late... small soft seeds in it. must have been pollinated by the DAMN SH*TTY "FEM" FULL MALE COOKIES KUSH! NEVER touching cookies again lol. Taste is "mehh" quick dried, but I'm pretty high, my tolerance too so it's cool I guess. No top shelf here... Very smooth though surprisingly no cough... even with the little seeds thankfully. Live and learn . Not feeling any indica at all. All uplifting! I'm ok with it too

Maybe herm is why shes taking so long + isn't frostier ... Blue Cheese Auto is already killin' her. Last thing I wanted to happen, I hope all the buds aren't seeded it would be lose/lose, smaller buds and no viable seeds. Fingers crossed.

I am only going to put fire in my closet from now on, those were the first genetics I bought and didn't get what i wanted with either... with the strains I now have I'm hopeful. No stupid hyped up strains, nice long veg under mh, and a full as possible space will make sure it's better in every aspect. Thinking about SCROG, 4-6 plants. Just need to finish out all these little 12/12 things lol, everything's flowering now except for cup girls.

Eventful week, bittersweet but not letting it get to me. Just gotta clean it up and knock out the park next time!

Ha yeah when the fruit gets ripe. No journal, want to start one tho. I do not have a camera. Without one would leave it bland and fakeish. Just me talking on a thread. What wattage is your HPS? I must have missed it. I did full CFL run on my first grow and they are great but HPS is where it is at. On my second grow now using the HPS 150 watts(I know small but its banging, got those great CFLs to help) and it is awsome. I am running now a special kush and delahaze three weeks in flower. Well anyways good work man. I will be posted.

Nothin' like reaping the fruits of labour! Ahhh that's a bummer bro, you're definitely right on that one probably best to wait until a cams in the mix. My HPS a 600w Apollo Horticulture, there was an insanely good deal on amazon for em for the longest time! Dimmable switchable digital ballast, reflector, rope ratchets, beefy electrical timer and an HPS and MH bulb for Like $200 after tax + free two day shipping! lol they took it off I think! I couldn't find the same deal up. It was too good to pass lol. N hey 150w would definitely still put in work, and cfls are awesome as side lighting, you can put em like anywhere so it makes for good use of light. Glad to hear its going good!! Hows that special kush doin????? from royal queen right? I got freebie fems of it chilling, debating it in my first full closet run cause I dont know much about it.

Damn that deal is sweet. 600w for 2 bills? With the extras? I would have leaped been so froggy. I am looking at a 250/400 switchable MH/HPS ballast from 1000 bulbs $150 without shipping. Hoping to get up the funds to do so soon. Yeah almost touching the girls got them CFLs so close. Ha ha. Yeah Royal Queen, they fem. Got them through Herbies. The Delahaze was the freebie. (great strain, topped that sativa.) Plus two reg afgan,(freebie's) only one popped waiting to kill that man if he dare step in my room. Lol. The sp. kush is great. Good size plant took all the newb LST shit i threw at her and kept trucking. Would recommend for whats its worth. Good growing.

You got that right man I just had to! I kicked myself for what i dropped on cfl. That sounds like a good deal to me. You can find some bulbs pretty cheap too. If it's not a large price difference and of course if they got it, id say get the 600/450/300. On 50% it is pretty damn cool, then when you have options for vent. you can crank it up still and not have to drop that chunk of cash again! Worst part about cfl was raising the lights lol. Afghans on the to-grow list for sure, as well as some sort of sativa but ill save that for down the road aha. You better, i think the male that was in my room fucked up my plant lol. look at this guys grow... strain did insane. Its probably worth a decent amount haha

UPDATE Day 114 Week 10 Day 4 12/12 Purple Bud | Blue Cheese Auto ~ 54 Days from seed - ALMOST DONE!!!!!!!!

FUCK YES. Purple bud could hurry up, 100% Indica my ass, Sensi. Gonna be right around 11 weeks shes close, most of the pistils have turned now. Less than 5% amber for sure though. maybe around 1-2%. SHES FROSTING OUT NOW. I was worried but not anymore. At this rate, looks like the Blue Cheese will finish around same time. And at any rate, the Blue Cheese will SMOKE the Purple Bud in dankness. I mean fuck, look at her shes frosty as the best of em Damn proud of her and myself on this one.Ugh shes stank ... Its in your face extra old cheddar, some hints of skunkyness and its got a light but very there sweetness in the back. Very nice. I don't want to grow any more purple strains again they aren't impressing me. Purp OG18 sucks. The other Purple Bud REALLY sucks. I neglected them though so that's prob why. My Cup girls are all starting to stretch + smell, and the smell i'm getting off em is what i wanted in my closet (and in my smoke) since i started growing. I feel on the right track.

About a qp of decent bud, not that great but the grow was still a success, good amount of stash. This grow taught me that genetics is going to trump almost everything, the rest is you lol. Maybe i just didn't grow her right and i shouldn't knock the strain .... maybe i cut to early who knows.It's cool though only certified dank from now on lol. That way i know its me if it aint fire haha. Heres the last pics!

Same as you, I started with cfl, then went to hps. Now I am all about that DIY COB lol. All within about two months lol my first grow also. Saving me choke on the electricity bill and it is so much fun haha

This is a Purple OG#18 12/12 F/S (severely neglected in the early days lol. I have a 12,12 Super Shark that is 3ft lmfao it'll be close to 1 1/2 zips prob! This one will be a half z IF I'm lucky


Picking the strain is crucial. but with what I know now, my next run once these 12/12's an are done will be really good. Even though i have to use less space. Got the strains i need, Gonna go for more plants instead of one huge one for less veg time and they will all be started at the same time under same conditions. Sorta mini scrog 4 sq. ft. 600w dimmed to 300, and getting Canna nutes. I'm excited!

I just took my first cuttings last night, I'm really hoping they take! I have separate space for veg so I will keep some moms instead of doing 12/12 from seed.
