  • Wats up fellow tokers and growers I am starting a 6'x3 cfl grow room and wanted to know if (22) 23 watt cfl on a 4 ft power strip with the y connectors from the top with top with (6) 42w cfl lining the sides for side lightning for flower on 3 plants would give me a good yeild and if it would could I get away with reducing the lighting for veg
My room will be lined with Mylar from top to bottom

I plan on vegging with 6500k and 2700k for flower any good ratio for using other cfl light for each phase

All those bulbs for just three plants? You'll do fine enough. A mixed spectrum is always best too, make sure you have a 6500k dominant spectrum for veg and 2700k dominant for flower. Keep your plants low as well.

I think someone told me for cfl's 1 out of every 4-5 should be the opposite spectrum. But someone else who knows the answer from experience will tell you for sure. This is what I recall from memory, because I thought about doing this. For example 2 out of my 8 t5's, should be 2700k but they wont be. But when I switch to flower. 2 of my 8 will be 6500k.
