7 weeks and looking flowery?

Unknown strain. I feed 4-20-20 maxsea bloom, 1 tsp per gal. Up until a week ago she was growing tight smooth nugs.. this 7th week she started to accelerate again and best I can describe.. flower out. Meaning the buds started poking out here and there and in my opinion, not tight looking as she was... I heard that if you let go too long they will become airy.. I no want that! Compared to my other 'unknown' strains (all my clones donated to the wife), this one also does not have a lot of resin. Whatcha think? Does this look 'normal' or time to pull? The last pic you can really see what I am talking about. Oh... I need to get a loupe (where to buy?). I will report back on trych color.

Radioshack has those great 60x-100x lighted microscopes thats what I use. Around 10$, I've also seen jeweler loupes at my local hydro store

If I were you? I would DEF. take down/lower your NPK percentages man.

I mean, shit.. you trying to kill it?? I mean, 4-20-20... 4%Nitrogen isn't too bad.. but the 20% P and the 20% K is WAY more than what the plant needs man.

Abusing the 'P' levels.. by feeding the plant extremely high percentages of 'P' during flowering... is the #1 mistake by new growers.

Just a 'food for thought' idea for you.. next time, just give it a try. Try using lower amounts of nutrients.. you'd be surprised at how well it works.

Good luck though..

i dont think that the nute rates are that bad... i think there proper.. you want way less veg in bloom and equal amounts of P. and K if not high levels of P. with even higher levels of K. plants need alot of potassium in bloom to make better use of the available N. and P.

Bad advice. Since the old days before the new wave of nutes, 10-60-10 peters was the best ya could get and everyones stash turned out way great. Another few weeks and they should dense up again and be ready for picking.

"I mean, shit.. you trying to kill it?? I mean, 4-20-20...

I think my plants are thriving actually with the nutes. No burn on the leaves.
"looks like skunk#1 in the pics, does she smell skunky at all ? nice looking plant btw

No, no distinct skunk smell to me. It did flower earlier than the rest, 3rd week of July. I only got a week of veg out of her before it flowered. The clone was about a foot high when I put in ground mid july. Its the shorter one in the foreground. I laid it over on its side just before it started to bud thus the lopsided look ;) I wish I knew the strains I was growing.

Heres an update on this lil plant.. I got some yellow sprouts coming out of the calyx's ? here and there. And new white hairs poping out as well. She's 8 weeks now, give or take a few daze. Not much snow on this one, not like the others for sure. The trichs are definately small, but they are there. Very few amber trychs but dang.. looking done soon! I'm thinking of taking the top cola's by this weekend.

Can we get tighter pics, because it sounds like you might be getting some hermaphroditic flowers popping out.

I don't want to scare you, but gotta get some good examples of said yellow sprouts.

If that is indeed the story, you should try to do a flush and harvest.

Here are some close-ups.. this girl is looking done to me. Trychs hard to see clear, they are small on this plant. You can clearly see the 'yellow' growth in the first couple pics, but very few of them overall on the plant. Last two are just some general pics. Wierd how most hairs have turned color, yet new hairs are coming out. No way to flush, they are in the ground and water is slow to perculate down.

Bro, order some reverse spray bushmasters I believe. And go to walmart get the green organic soap in the camping for 1.50. Mix in the reverse spray with a few drops of soap volla. spray on plants it'll kill male flowers. You must do this asap. I'd spray leaves only, don't wanna risk havn't any weird taste in those beautiful buds. Good luck, and yes I've done this before. Flowers died and fell off :). And harvest when the bud is amber'ed out, I'm talking 40-50% amber. You'll thank me later

the plant needs to come down now point blank. not doing a flush wont kill your taste like everyone says.... it will have some effect granted. those buds look good so i wouldnt worry just dry em out real good and cure them up for 2 weeks minimum. remember the longer the cure the better the taste. so i recommend a 1 month cure
