i finally got my shit together for my indoor grow. ive been growing outdoors for years but this will be my first indoor run so i put it here in the newb section. ive vegged plants indoors to put outside before but have never flowered inside. heres what i got:

x2 cidly apollo 10

OGR Fire OG Kush
DNA genetics sleestack
Reserva Privada kosher kush
Dinafem Blue Widow
Kaua'i Kush (my own cross hawaiian x kush)

Room: roughly 6x4x6.5 i havent measured it, its a tiny laundry room

the medium is soiless coco with perlite and beneficial microbes. nutes are hydroponics-research veg+bloom.

some pics of the grow so far:

in the veg tub under cfls before the cidly a10 was delivered. top right in the smartpot is the fire og, the rest are my own cross.

DSC_0111a.jpg
the cidly apollo 10 with my custom specs. actual draw for the unit is 351w. i have two of em.

DSC_0128a.jpgDSC_0119.jpgDSC_0158.jpgDSC_0165.jpg
(pic1)the kaua'i kush.(pic2) the fire og(middle) and kaua'i with the dna and reserva seedlings. i dont know why the last two pics are sideways, i rotated the pics and saved em on my comp but they keep coming out like that.

im hoping for minimum half pound but expect something closer to a pound combined. im used to 1/2lb-3/4th lb per plant outdoors lol.

Updates!

DSC04794.jpgDSC04837.jpg
heres the ograskal fire og. im trying out the heavy defoliation technique and this plant seems to really like it. the pics show how much it recovers in 8 days. the growth is explosive!

DSC04800.jpgDSC04806.jpgDSC04812.jpg
took a couple of clones from the fire og. im gona use home made colloidal silver solution to take some feminized pollen from her to make some feminized seed crosses.

DSC_0217.jpgDSC04843.jpgDSC04817.jpg
the starting ppm of water is 2 and ended up at 20ppm, im shooting for 30ppm of colloidal solution but im not sure if my little home made generator will get it up that high. im gona test this 18ppm solution on a plant i have outdoors and see what happens.

DSC04782.jpgDSC_0213.jpgDSC_0209.jpg
here are my own crosses the one thats flowering outside will be the test subject for the colloidal silver reversing. i gave away some of my other dna genetics and reserva privada seedlings to a friend to take care of while i focus on the ones i already have going.

im gona flip it to 12/12 in a week or two so its gona get interesting.

just got my electricity bill, running the single apollo 10 which draws 351watts my cost were about 35$ for a month. running both apollo 10s at 700watts will cost me 70$ a month. not too bad but i gotta start producing some buds to make this worth it haha.

flowering time! this is just about 3 weeks into flower.

this is the fire og. the earliest maturing plant i have going inside. the rest just started throwing pistils, this one is already developing trichomes.

had some security issues recently so the plants suffered a bit. also the title of this thread is misleading, i wanted to run two 350w led panels but havent been able to, everything in this thread is under a single 350w panel. not trying to lead anyone on lol. peace.

Nice! I just got pricing on a cidly Apollo 4 which I think I am going to get. Nice to see that the lights can produce!

Please pardon my ignorance but I'm pretty new to this LED thing... You say you're kickin' 700 watts? I am curious to find out exactly how many grams per watt you get bro... Been looking at Slipon here's work with LED's and I must admit it's more like I'd expect for the power-savings to make sense, he's kickin a mere 288 watts amd his babes are looking KILLLLAAAARRRRR... I'm covering a very similarly sized area to you with 2 600w HPS lamps (it's a tad too much but I like to over-cater thank you) and I must say not really noticing that huge a diff on my power bill, my room is sucking about 10 Ampere constantly while in the 'daylight' hours. Cost-versus-yield I am very happy, but these LED's have got my interest for sure. Not really because of the power savings but I want to design a nice COLD room to kick all the way through summer. THAT's where I see real savings coming in for me, with the climate control!!
I want to go about my design process learning from others already doing it so I'll be keeping an eye here too. All the best. Looks BADASSSSSS :)

for each 15 diode cluster my specs are:

720nm x 1 deep red
660nm x 8 red
630nm x 3 red
12000k white x 1
460nm x 2 blue

a little heavy on the blues, i should have took one of those out and added another white or red. if i could do it all over again i would go with a mix of whites, they seem to be working well for people and i dont think you need to worry about bleaching with all whites.

kushkrew, i have two of these panels. i originally wanted to run them both at the same time however for the first run i decided to just go with one and see how that goes. so right now im only using 351w total for the lights. as far as the electricity bill, im in california and they overcharge us for almost all utilities here. i dont really expect great gpw with this first run but ill keep you guys updated on the final weight. also, i wasnt aware of slipons 288w led grow thanks for pointing that out. ill go read it right now, i need all the help i can get. im normally a outdoor grower and leds and closet spaces are the complete opposite of what im used to haha.

mushead, thanks. im using about half the available space right now.

sadface, if you want to see what a apollo 6 can do check this thread out:

this grow is with apollo 4's:

thanks for stopping by peeps hopefully i will have some more good stuff to show in the next few weeks. i just have some new seedlings im excited about, theres one cali connection corleone kush (bubba kush x sfv og kush bx) and 2 bodhi seeds lucky charms (the white x green crack x tres dawg). im trying to find some males to breed with.

This is something I have noticed in my grow, is that my white LED's do not pose a threat of LED burn, they are relatively close to the canopy and so far every plant has reacted well to them even some a few inches away.

i bleached a few seedlings to death with this panel before haha, its the blue combined with the narrow angle lens that does it. the top of my fire og was also discoloring during veg so i moved my lights up a few inches and she came back. my a10 has 90 degree lens which is kind of narrow and focused but i have some replacement lens that are 65 degrees. those would be like lasers compared to the 90 degree, i dont think ill be testing them out anytime soon though.

Frost beast, frost beast!

Shes not as yellow in person as it is in the pics so im not sure if i should go back to my early bloom nute or stay with my mid bloom nute which is rated 2-20-20. the early bloom pack is 6-18-18. im usng kelp4less.com bloom pack which has 3 separate formulas for bloom; early, mid and late. im really liking it so far and for 30 bucks on sale it will last me a long time. i used hydroponic-research veg+bloom hard water formula for vegging. everything has been really easy as far as nute schedules go. ph has been kept at 5.8-6.0 and the water i use is filtered tap, not R/O just a regular cheap carbon filter to take out excess calcium and chlorine.

still have about 5-6 weeks left at least i think. got a few clones of this girl so im happy. one of the clones im reversing for fem pollen. another one will be crossed with some other frosty strains and ill flower out the rest. the fire og is killing my own personal cross which is more sativa and not nearly as fast maturing but smells nice and gets pretty frosty as well. i have to watch out for the fire though as it will sometimes hermie, i tried stress acclimate the plant during veg with high heat and light leaks hoping that it wont react to those factors when in flower. got my fingers crossed.

doing some pheno hunting. heres some new beans i popped:

this is bodhi seeds lucky charms (the white x appalachia) i have two of them going.

reserva privada kosher kush fem. this one was a mutant and is finally starting to grow out of it.

dinafem blue widow

mexican brick weed bag seed. not expecting much from this just threw it in, it was marked as unknown mexican in my seed stash.

i also have the cc corleone kush vegging and will be popping some gdp bay11 and maybe a sour diesel or some dna/reserva freebies i got awhile back. i need to find some good yielding dank and some good males to make crosses with.

im thinking of culling one of the hawaii x kush i have flowering in my room cus its not what im looking for. slow to flower, cant take the heat and not what im looking for at all.

Wow that Kosher kush looks weird... I had a Jack47 from Sweet Seeds also went all mutant at first, and also a Widow from Greenhouse seeds... The Jack came out OK, the Widow, well it was mutant all the way, most disgusting-looking plant I've ever grown and the last thing I planted from Greenhouse... Very interested to see what the Kosher Kush does actually been looking at buying some of the beans.

almost finished with the fire og kush. she has one or two weeks left to live, i gave her her final feed today after that itll be straight water. she bulked up well but not counting on a big haul unless she fattens up in weeks. the yield looks respectable for a og kush with no training and being my first real grow indoors. if she smokes as well as she smells ill keep it around and willl scrog the next grow.

light penetration seems decent with the leds.

the kosher is finally looking normal, i decided to put all my vegging plants outside to grow faster.

cali connection corleone kush vegging outdoors

this is my personal cross which will be flowering outdoors.
