I just got a 70W hps floodlight, it had the white/black/ground wires, i wired it to a cord i salvaged from an old computer. the light fires up and works fine when plugged directly into a wall, but when i use an extension cord (which i need to for the location of my room) it craps out after it starts getting hot. What can i do to resolve this?
