740 watt LED grow DWC

it really pisses me off when i see shit like this, im poor as fuck and wish that i had even 150 bucks. i could spend 150 bucks on a 400 watt hps. then spend about thirty bucks for all the nutrients i need, and come out with way more bud than your going to get. if HID's are used properly you could easily harvest a pound every two months. i bet you average a little over a quarter oz a plant WEAK

led's are no good. Maybe in 5 years they will be ok to use. And you ended up with burnt colas with you hid lights cause you dont know what your doing with them.

im glad you can grow with hps, i personally dont average anything with these lights if you would read this is my FIRST grow with them. i am not going to run hps because i dont see how it makes sense to run so many watts that arent in the correct spectrum. the expense of these lights is an investment, and no i dont no very much what im doing this is my SECOND GROW EVER! i am very much a beginner but i am open to new ideas, just wish there were more people who were, they might see the advantages of this. two plants are halfway through budding, so check back in a month and then see if you still think my setup is shit.

the light spectrum means little when the wave length gets cut down 50 percent 1 inch away from the bulb, also a 400 watt hps costs about 25 buck to run a month, and its lumens and spectrum of light do not dissipate like leds. Also the spectrum of light is not drastically different enough to say Leds are better. Just some advice from someone who has exp growing. I would if i were you just sell those leds when your done and buy a 400 watt hps and a good exhaust fan and keep the light 16 inches away from your colas.

followed many led grows and they always switch to hps or mh by the way. I follow them cause i am interested but alot know the tech is not there.

some of this stuff makes me laugh cus people are telling me my lights wont work or how much i will harvest when they are growing with different bulbs. i have seen a lot of the weak grows with leds also, trying to use 90 watts for a bunch of plants is not sufficient from what ive seen. but no one that i have seen or heard about has used as many watts along with the newer spectrums, so i just wonder how do you know if you havent seen it let alone tried it. i am glad that people can do a cheaper setup with results that they want, but i want to see what results i can get. i am happy with how things are going, the buds look and smell great to me.

lol no i am just saying alot of people like the cost to represent the product. You should get enough usually from your first grow to break even.

thanks for the reading practice vertise, but this is not the place to be pushing your hid's like jehova witness. you've totally hijacked the direction this thread should have been taken, an entire page about what you think about hid's. i dont give a crap about what you think i give a crap about this led grow.

hope to see some daylight pics, these buds are gonna be dank.

It's amazing how many haters come out whenever someone tries an LED grow. You see people doing stupid shit (not saying this is) around this site all the time, but no one is ever as crude to them as they are when it comes to LEDs.

Some people have extra cash and want to try their hand at something different. Get over it.

I'd suggest moving this to the journal section so you can keep things under control, and don't get overrun by all the children that can't control themselves. I'd hate to see you go the way of John Doe's 9000watt grow, where retards filled 4 pages of arguments about solar panels. After that he stopped posting :(
