Elaborate yes. $750,000 worth of equipment....NOT. Dumb cops and DEA always inflate the street values and equipment costs not only to justify their own budgets, (as well as increase them) but to help nail the accused to the wall. After all, people like those guys are totally damaging society and ruining lives. It's such bullshit. Notice the firefighter was holding down a full time job and serving the community. Yeah, it's probably better if taxpayers pick up the tab for their incarceration instead though. Idiots!!

Again I think it goes off the estimated street value where every dollar is worth 3-4 dollars i.e....
grower sells 1lb=$1000
Dealer breaks into bags @ $15-$20/g or 50-100$ 1/4. Who then sells a few bags and so on and so forth...the fuzz doesnt just take the initial 1000 they have some fucked up method and ussually they break it up to some rediculous # where they say each plant is about 4 oz which is def. BS in most cases. My boy told me most of this...his brother is a badge in Miami.

I hate when cops inflate weed prices like that. It directly effects users, and makes other dealers up prices for the same quality dope....im gonna meditate on a steam roller before i get too pissed.

The funny thing about that is I think it's all local and I'm pretty sure that Maine has medical laws passed. There were clearly no federal arrests in what they showed. Also they say the fireman is just a 'suspect' but they werent holding him. I know there are a bunch of HUGE medical growers in canada and one in Rhode Island so maybe he's not gunna get too much of a hit. I dunno. I just thought all this was interesting and how it only got that small segment on the News. I looked all over the web for more info and only found the same shit. I dunno, I'm still new to all this and havent been over many laws and are nowhere near the caliber grower that those guys are but i found some good role models...lol. Any1 have ne thoughts or things to add?

Growing that much weed is stupid I think, You can grow 6 plants every 2 months rougly (depending on strain) with a veg and flower area, and pay all your bills, as long as you maintain a well paying job, money should not ever be an issue. I would not want to sell mass quantities. Unless of course marijuana becomes legal one day, I will be the 1st to open a coffeeshop in my town.

This kinda worries me because Maine is a hell-of-alot more marijuana friendly than where I live.
But then again their grow op is 100 times bigger than mine.

Yeah it sux because you cant even trust the people who are closest to you...not everyone grows and some people see it as a bragging point...especially if you put out some good bud. Just remember to keep it small and keep it to yourself. Anyone who may know about your operation, tell them it didnt work out or that your parents found it or that your power went out and they all died. NO ONE SHOULD KNOW BUT YOU...

Not sure "exactly" where he is located but he runs and operates a 'legal' medical operation that is bigger than anything I have ever seen before. He distributes to 5 or 6 people. My friend claims he saw him on a TV program but I read an article on his operation bout 6 or 7 months ago. I'll see if I can dig up any info or at least locate the article so I don't sound like a shmuck.

this fucking shit has got to stop..ie Privacy constitutional laws..i hope the warrent falls thro in court..yea 100 plants is alot but still its all comes down to a green natural plant..and we got the damn government hauling people off to tax payer paid prison...for growing plants.. jsut ridiculous. 100x plants say qp per plant , did u seee the stalks? ...400zips...@ approx 180zip (3k elb)= 75 grand of pot..25 pounds..cops are claiming 10x that.
