Hello guys, I was woundering how many light bulbs do I need? People say 300-400Watt for one plant.. Well my local store only sells like 75Watt bulbs.. So do I just buy like 5...? That's a lot of light bulbs for one plant.. But that will equal out to 400watts.. Or does the clamp fixture edit te Watts? Say I get a lamp fixture and a 75 Watt bulb.. How much watts woul it be..?
I just need the plant to get correct heat..

Don't worry about equivalent watt values, they're misleading and ultimately meaningless to growers. The minimum amount of light most indoor growers would suggest you use is 100 watts actual, and I would say that's a little low. If you can afford it, and you can manage the heat output of the bulbs (a few pc fans for intake and exhaust should do it), I would recommend you use at least 200 actual watts of CFL bulbs for your single plant grow if you want any semblance of a decent yield at the end of it.

Peace

When it says equivalant to 100 watts. thats equal to 100 watts of incandescent (never grow with incandescent) you want cfl lights (in the high kelvin ranges[over 5000 kelvin] for the veg and below 4000 kelving for the flower) for one plant 150 watts (actual cfl watts not what they equal in incandescent) of cfl
