I've grown autos outdoors with that much direct sunlight. The more sun the better, but you can successfully grow autos with that much sun.

it will grow: your yield will not be nearly as much as 18 hours, but it will give something back. do the best you can with what you got. GL

yea alrite thanks guys, i might just put it under some cfl for the extra light. but once it starts flwoering im just gonna leave it outside and just let nature do its thangg

What po boy said.

Enough to grow buds and mature? Yes.
Optimal for highest yield? No.

If you want the best yield possible, and can give more light, do so.

If you are space limited, don't care about yield, or can't give more light, you'll still end up with something to smoke, though I think not nearly so much as you would with 18-20 hours of light per day.

Is that 7 hrs. of direct sun? Or 7 hrs alltogether?
If 7 hrs. of direct, that is cool.
If 7 hrs. total, I would add a few hrs of supplemental lighting.

I grow out in the woods and a few of my plants only get 6-7 hours of direct light. Grew a Godbud this summer that got 9ft tall. 7 hours of sun a day. Mold got it though, had to chop it early. 7 hours is fine!
