Not really i am running 3 23watt 6500k and 1 42watt 2700k for one plant...Your better off just getting a MH or HPS for that many.....

well i have 8 23w cfls 6500k for my vegging and then im going to switch 4 of the 23w for 42w 2700k and i have three plants in a hydro setup

I don't see anything wrong with vegging with both spectrums. The sun has all spectrums and that is what plants prefer most. I flowered under 6500k and got 78g from one plant.

But, with that space and that amount of light only count on like maybe 2 plants making it.

:peace:

The wattage cost just the same...With CFL's the big selling point is that they put out more light for less watts...Like a 23 watt is equal to a 100 watt....But if you have a 150watt HPS its gonna cost the same to run 150 watts of cfls....

i dont want to take up the room for the ballast in my cab im getting the 4 daylight and a 14w blue and red feit electric and a 100w mv thats 8,000l and the 3500k spectrum that im putting on a 3 way y plug red on left blug on right and mv in the middle on a bycycle hook on the top of my cab to adjust up and down we will see whats good once i get this shit goin

by the way the mv bulb doesnt need a ballast

if you are only using that many, i would suggest using all daylight bulbs...one over top of each plant, and 1 in between each plant, put the pots as close as possible...that will run you 7 lights for 4 plants or 11 for 6...

4 2700k 4 6500k 2 14w red and blue party bulbs 1 mv 100w 3500k 800l

each cfl is 1600 l so im thinking about 22,000l in a 3.7sq grow box

i was gonna have them in 6inch pots the whole grow one surge on left one on right one in the back 2 pots on right 2 pots in back 2 pots on left with the mv and blue and red party blug on a 3 plug extension on a bycicle hook mouted on the top of the cab so it can be adjusted

and i plant on picking up 2 sheets on 1/8 inch aluminum sheeting for reflective to curl aroung where i mount my suges with screws bend the metal over the lights also on my lowes list (everything i plan to get is at lowes dont want to run around for personal smoke)

1 sheet of plywood for my box bought 20 bucks with the extra wood i dont use i am making 3 inch strips on the back left and right for different spots i mount my stripes to adjust to the plant example 6 inch pots mount at 8 14 20 26 32
