8" Inline Ok For 400w HPS

Have had some heat issues due to my 400. Just got an 8 inch inline with 420CFM, being shipped for 30$, Good Deal? Its just a booster but will it work ok, Someone told me over 400CFM witch it is but if worst comes to worst i can use as an intake, it was just such a good deal? Any good advice gets +Rep!

Are we talking <inline fan, or duct inline fan >
$30 is the going rate for the duct fan. I don't like them personally. Whats your current setup? Tent? Closet? Grow room? Do you have intake/exhaust?

I'd use it for intake, and exhaust with the inline fan connected to carbon filter....

Yea Its Just A Booster, But 30$ even thats 15 for the fan 15 for the ship, good deal, or no? either way i can use it, but idk if i got 100$ extra for the 400CFM real inline just yet, so can i just compinsate with this for now and a good intake or no? Thanks For The Quick Response.

I'd use what you ordered for intake, and you don't need a 8" inline fan for a closet grow, get the 4" inline fan and carbon filter combo, think its like $140 all together, its going to exhuast the closet's hot air and take care of odor. What stage are you in? Make sure temps are under 85. Idealy 75 in a perfect world. But come flower time I'd definitly use a carbon filter and inline fan to exhaust. $30 is the going rate as I said, so yeah guess it is a good deal, you didn't pay for shipping or tax.
