Its hard to tell, do you want a heady stone, coughlock? the best way to determine is by looking a the trichs under a 30x magnifying glass. You can get a cheap one a radio shack or a nicer one (cost only a little more) at the hyrdo shop..

i borrowed my mates microscope 100x and ther was about 38% amber this was about a week ago.

You pretty much got it... I trim off all the fan leaves before I cut the plant at the base, I find it makes trimming easier myself. Make sure to save the fine trimmings around the bud, those trics are good for hash or baking if that's your thing. The time you need to dry will depend on what your environment is like. You don't want it to dry out too much or too little. Check out the harvesting section and there are a few really good drying and curing threads. Good luck, the hard part is over.

well done looks like your going to get 100 grams wet per plant expect 2/3'rds of it to disapear in drying looks very tasty next grow i would suggest topping or even pinching stems to get more tops goin looks like u need more light penetration in lower buds
