8 weeks small buds??

Hey guys, quick question... it has been 8 weeks and i think my buds should be bigger. Temp is between 70-80, ph of water is 6.45-6.53, light is the sunshine sky LED 180 light ($400 light), but only using it on half of my 5X5, i use 2 other cheaper lights on the other side. I use bloom hydro nutes, cal-mag etc as needed. What could i be doing to keep them small? Pics included... Thank you for your help.

The one picture is just showing the right side of tent with the led light. Should i exfoliate to increase light or decrease stress, or would that add more stress if i started clipping lower buds?

The light might be $400 but it's still just 180 watts from the wall. It's probably fine for vegetative growth but it's not enough for flowering in half of a 5 x 5. You need more light.

Plant looks like it's been flowering 4 weeks not 8. Give them time and more light. A 600 watt HPS will blow that light away for less than half the cost. Or a 315 CMH for that matter.

Then another question 1.) Do CMH produce more heat? 2.) Whats the electric run on those? I already have 3 lights running and an A/C portable unit running into the tent, which was super expensive on credit. I get that some of you AWESOME GROWERS can get those things but from a poor semi semi newbie, what do you think i can do without adding expense. Should i lower the lights to barely touch them? How about some cheap grow lights i can possibly dangle between the bushes? I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP...however i have used all my "extra" money in lights, a/c unit, tents, soil, testers, nutes, etc... you get my point... i am a fsmily grower, meaning i dont smoke, but i am growing for my family who does. Thsnk you for helping. If i can correct for under $100 i can pull that off. Again thank you. I am infatuated with cannabis and LOVE TO GROW! I planted a male from my batch and put him outback in soil cause i didnt want him to die.

You’re not going to do anything with $100 at this point to help those. Save it towards a real light. Bargain growers - think HPS. Or HPS. Or maybe an HPS. Otherwise build a real LED.

You need like 800w+ to make decent nugs in a 5x5, 1000w+ would be better.

If i was that tight on cash, I'd finish this up first then try to cop myself a 630cmh to add with the led's.

That's a 700w increase, your a/c will work even harder. If you cant afford the heat/electric then you need to downsize from your 5x5.

Agree except I would go for 2 315s myself.

One RIU member just spent $1700 on a professional grade LED. The really good ones are not cheap.

DUH, SO SORRY TO BE A BOTHER......i just realized..... i am an idiot, i am growing random seeds from friends... who knows what they are.... but i will remember all you have taught me... THANK YOU I am sure random dirt..mid..and high quality bud differently. And a $400 light LED OR a 300 HPS bulb will still all be different DEPENDING ON THE SEED, or rather strain of the seed, as in genetics etc. I bet if i put the same time and effort in good seeds, i would have a different OUTCOME. Thanks for YOU HELP.
