Trimmed off so all the energy going to the leaves will go to the buds. That's what many people think when in reality cutting leaves reduces the energy that makes the buds grow.

Yeah I only defoliate the bottoms it's literally stealing food from your baby, as far as time goes I'm going to assume you are counting from when u switched to12/12 it's actually 8 weeks from first sign of flower not the day light dep starts.
Many people make this mistake and blame breeders because they think flower starts the moment you switch that is not only wrong it's just silly. You still have at least 2 weeks left there maybe 3.
