9 days with problems

ok i am on something like the 9th day of growing this is my first grow and my plants arnt looking to good 1 the top looksd dead but the stem is still green and purple all the others there leafs are drooping and they have purple stem i have also noticed some brown areas that look like they are dieing on the leafs just wondering if any one could help i have 1/4 strength 3 part gh in the water and just added magnesium cause sumeone said it would be a defficiency of N or mag so added more of both. i am flooding the tray every 4 hours and im using expanded clay and rock wool. is that to much or to lil cause the plant looks thirsty. please get back to me asap

empty reservoir and refill asap with correct pH and NO nutrients..

are you sure no nutes i only put 12.5ml of nutes to 40 lt of water they recommend it for seedlings. i dont know my ph yet cause i orderd the ph tester and the post stuffed up so hoping it will get here soon would ph be my problem?

ok just checked my ph with 1 of those crappy pool ph testers with the drops i just rememberd i bought and it said my ph was round the 7 mark could that be the problem? i put in some ph down so hopfully it will go to around 5.5

GK is right on why would you put nutes on a brand new seedling? Thats crazy just crazy let it get roots going for a week or 2 with just water or nothing more then mist it with nitrozyme twice a week

that would be my problem then mine was 7. well i let it sprout for 2 days then on the back of gh bottles it says seedlings/cutting so and so, so i put that in. my ph look like they are round 5.5 now plants havnt improved but its only been like 2 waterings. and cant get exact ph till i get my electric ph tester through the mail. i will just leave nutes in but wont top up till they r like another week or so into it then how much should i give them?
