9 plants / 1000 watt mh/hps / 4x4 flood tray. ( seeking info )

You'd have to show me a picture of what you mean but sounds interesting. I'd leave the LEDs alone unless you're already set on buying them. There are 3,4, and even 5 watt chipsets out now and will be replacing the 2 watt chipsets a lot of LED grow light manufacturers are using at the moment. 5 watts out of a single LED bulb is a lot and I hope they create the light penetration an HID offers.
this is is what I meant by reptile bulbs this was my last grow with the diamond and NYSD

I get it. But did you yield bigger because of this? I'm only asking because the undersides of leaves don't photosynthesize light.

Thanks dude. I feed them 4-5 gallons each day with nutrients added each time. I also reuse runoff, I just correct it for pH. I use CO2 for half the time the lights are on each day, so 6 hours, at 1250 PPM but two days ago I upped it to 1500 PPM.

I'm using general organics for veg and flower, humbolt honey bee molasses (organic) and bloomblastic (organic). What nutes do you use

How big of tank are you using and how much we're you feeding them in veg ?

They sit in a 4x4 flood table that's propped up on 5 5gal buckets as a stand. I have one 5 gal that sits under the tray holes where I store my nutes and it collects run off. I then have a medium air stone in the bucket as well as a 263 gph pump that I use to manually hand feed my plants daily.

I bought into the whole Advanced Nutrient line but I'm seeing fantastic results so maybe there's some proof in that pudding.

Ok that what I have to do right now manually feed them by hand. When they were in week one and 2 how many gallons did you feed them ?

When they were in 1 gal pots I'd feed them 4-6 times daily. Keep in mind I'm growing in coco so excess will just run off. I never measured how much they were taking, I just made sure my nutrient bucket was topped off. Once I transplanted I fed only once per day. The more coco you have in a container, the longer it will stay moist. Hence more feeding in the 1 gal pots.

Also photograph your grow at least a few times a week so you can see in pictures what your plants react to, what they like and dislike. I probably would have never removed all that lower growth had I not looked at the photos.
