$99 914 CFM 1HP mini dust collector

I just bought an STP filter that fit a ford mustang, filled it with activated carbon (wal-mart aquarium supplies - 1 bottle), Duct taped it to dryer ducting, then connected that to the output of this dust collector. I Am going to run ducting through the top of my grow, but it already cuts down on the smell nearly instantly.

Drawback: it is loud as a jet liner. Holy hell this thing is loud and im going to have to figure out how to quiet the thing, maybe attach my car's old airbox?

if anyone has wisdom on quieting a loud fan, please share.

Just wanted to put my word in for a great product cheaper than what I can find for $140 or so.

The exhast is a funny oval shape but a 3"-4" duct will fit right on there.

Thats way better! How can i install a rheostat to control the fan speed?
