9lb hammer?

Anyone grow it? What was the yield like? I hear it is a heavy yielder? How many zips do you think i can get per plant with a one month veg?

I grew a clone thats being passed around of her supposedly from jinx. Wasnt impressed by potency at all. Tasted like flowers smell. Yield wise was average. Your last question on how many zips is to vague, your lights, enviroment, grow style effect that.

Thinking about buying some beans guys give me some feedback!
cant go wrong with bodhis stuff. 70 bucks a pack. tons to choose from. his crosses with hp male seem to yield well and lots of indica leaners. also his snow lotus crosses throw huge colas but those are sativa leaners. jbcseeds, great lake genetics, dc seed exchange.

I just got some jinx seeds of 9lb hammer (regular seeds) I specifically got them to produce male plants so I can do an open pollination of some other strains I want to make seeds out of: purple punch, cheese, peyote critical, super skunk. Plus create more 9lb hammer seeds. The dispensary where I got the seeds and purple punch clones had some buds on hand that they had done of a cross between purple punch and 9lb hammer. It smelled AMAZING! If I had the money after buying the seeds and clones I would have bought some of it right there. But the seeds and clone took up all my money.

My plan is to separate out a clone of each strain to grow for actual smoke, and then use the rest for creating seed stock. Purple punch is the closest I can get here in oklahoma to grand daddy purple.

GDP is pretty good but there are a few better producing, stronger plants around here in OK imo. Try some Purp5, Newberry, or Monkey Balls for some dark purple strains that taste great, get purple, and are more potent than GDP. Ok Clone Co has them all.

We might get some hammer going at some point, but we already have some gear with Sub's Jack the Ripper in it (Pineapple Thai) and I wasn't impressed much with the HAOG cut I ran years ago. I find it interesting though that the 9# hammer is supposed to be a heavy knock out indica with the Jack in it. We'll run it at some point to see.

haha strangely enough i just bought purp5 the Oklahoma clone company :-) it must be you that i was talking too today lol.

here is the pic of the Purp5 i just bought today.

i have been coming up with a bunch of funny names for Hammer strains lol like "Please hammer dont hurt'em" strain, and "9lb nails" lol

Ya I am switching from 8/16 to 12/12 lighting this week. I am having a problem with excessive humidity though. Raining inside my tent. I have to wipe down the top of the tent after I open it. I need to get a vent fan. I usually leave the tent open when the light is on after I get home from work. It helps to even out some of the excessive humidity. Buying a vent system is in the plans for the future.

Here is what they look like today. I see some buds just now starting to form. There is one photo of the middle plant at the back, which is purp#5 it has 5 leaves, the two next to it which are getting really tall is purple punch, and it has 3 finger leaves. The last photo which uploaded sideways is the smallest of the 9lb hammer. Which I was trying to wait till that one reached the same hight as the other plants. But since the others were so big I put it in the clone / nursery tent to grow some more. The other 9lb hammer plants are at the front of my big tent. My plan is to harvest a few buds from each plant for personal smoke, and then let the rest go to seed so I can have personal grow stock for next season.

Since I am breeding plants for seeds, I found at least 2 males in my current setup. So I sectioned them off in the bathroom. These are 9lb hammer males.

The flowers on the female plants are starting to sprout. The females are “9lb hammer”, “purp#5”, “purple punch”, “peyote critical”, and “super skunk”. Hoping to get some good seeds. 8-)
