has anyone used the 1000w sunpulse splitter to 2 600w bulbs. how effective are they do? do i get the full 1200w out of my bulbs only being a 1000w ballast?

I would say this thing will work at the expense of : your bulbs will probably not run at the proper temperature, the ballast will probably have a shorter life span. Also as it says "it will lower your electric bill" is COMPLETE bullshit.

I could see lower bill since your using one ballast instead of two, but agree using the equipment in ways it is not designed for is not optimal.
