A/C emplacement ?

I am wondering where should i place my air conditioner?
Right now it's sitting next to the floor on the bottom of the room.
Should i place it higher? any suggestions? thanks.

BTW my room is 8x10x5 with a new 10,000BTU.

You should place it higher up , make sure it is exhausting outside.

It is exausting outside the room but how high should the ac be? in the middle? or higher?

as it will presumably also be an intake, lower is better. I put mine at light level to more directly cool them.
