A Child's Garden of Grass????

So I have a few old friends who were real big potheads in the 70's. Well I was telling one of them my latest adventures while high, when we started talking about old stoner comedy.

He told me abould this legendary record called a child's garden of grass and how hilarious it is when you're baked. I was lucky enough to hear the first 30 seconds of the record and it was the funniest thing I've ever heard! Well aside from the comedy I hear it's got really cool songs to listen to while high too.

I've been looking for a copy online to download or buy and haven't had much luck, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out, or if you've even heard of it. And if you have heard it, what's your favorite part?

Thanks everyone. You guys all really kick ass!

Reminds me that all during the 60s and 70s, you had to call pot "grass" and if you called it "pot" or "weed" people thought you was a redneck or part of the straight establishment.
I never hear the word "GRASS" now.

Yes, I do remember it, got all white and stinking and we thought it got stronger. Now I think we was posioning ourselves.

Are you or anyoen old enough to remember when it was not cool to use plain white papers? Had to be wheat straw or banana flavored, or strawberry, to be cool.

And wilder, or stranger, in the 60s and early 70s, it was not cool to smoke "homegrown". HomeGrown was for poor people and the in thing was smoking Columbian, or Jamaician instead of Mexican. People would say "home grown pot smells like skunk or cat piss and stinks bad" and you could not give it away for free.

I sure do remember, hopeing for at least half NOT seed but that Columbian was always half seed..

Back then, we preferred a leafy bag, cause the buds were ALL seeds.

the first of many "above the law" war -mongers to come.

He showed us that the President can do anything he wants to do, lie about it and get away with it..well, most of the time, anyway.

add a few choice expletives and that would be a textbook description...
also, don't forget that the "war on drugs" as we know it today really began under that bloated fuck's initiative.

Although Nixon did lie, his mistake was in the cover up. The actual shenanigans were/ and are pretty routine in politics. Happens all the time.

Nixon actually ended the Democratic party's nightmare which was Vietnam. He also opened up China. He was a masterful politician and if not for the cover up.... if he had simply done a mea culpa on the breakin, he would be quite popular as a past President.

I agree CrackerJax, all he really did different was get caught.
And if he had apoligized properly, and not lied, he could have stayed in office and been declared a great president.
