I actually believe the police live in a state of heightened fear, not that there are not racist cops, there definitely are, but I think there is an underlying issue of fear and heightened adrenaline going on. I don't believe for the most part that most cops that do any of the shootings are thinking I am going to kill this black dude because I hate black folks, but I do think they have a bigger fear/belief whatever it is that certain people are more threatening than others, and a lot of cops feel more threatened by blacks, profiling unfortunately. People definitely get profiled black, hispanic or white way before the cop ever gets to the person or the car, that is factual.
so many words to say nothing.

i fail to see how this is an argument except to prove the cops mistreated the man. unless the definition of racism is being handled in a convenience store parking lot. cause that's all i see. didn't hear any audio of the cops calling him a nigger or saying they lynch his black ass. i heard none of that. did you?
Lol, I know that you may not want to see it, but you do.

You fail to see the whole picture. Your brain obviously doesn't allow you to to see how everything ties together. Racial profiling is real.
Once you just look at it all objectively, with no bias, you might see what's really going on.

That would seem to be their problem, not mine. Unfortunately, I would have to be the one to pay for their shortcomings.
No one should have to pay for their shortcomings and what is happening and it is not right. My first marriage I was married to a cop and I do know the fear of having your husband put on a bulletproof vest on right before he went to work, I lived with the fear of wondering whether he was coming home that day. He had been shot at 2 times while we were married, and his partner was killed. I heard all the crazy stories and did know that any stop or any answered call has the potential of ending in violence. I do not defend, I just see it from both viewpoints I think from another viewpoint a third one it needs to be examined the kind of people that enter this particular profession. I would venture to say a lot of testosterone going on mixed with fear, and adrenaline is not a good combo, throw in some profiling and it gets screwed up. I hope these particular cops spend a long time in jail. They have destroyed lives and there is no good excuse.

It's still more dangerous to be stopped by the police, than it is to be the police. Maybe I should walk around with a vest on.

oh please, tell me what objectivity has to do with your view on this?? objectivity is what in the picture. i see no kkk hoods. so you are interjecting your own thoughts and beliefs into this, hence, it's NOT objective. that word clearly does not mean what you thinks it means.

Maybe, not sure, I think on a daily basis a cop is more likely to be in danger at work than the average person regardless of color. Now once someone gets into a situation where they are involved with the police however that may happen, yes I agree that at that point they are in more danger.
