A few pictures for you

Here's a few pictures of one of my babies. Note how the lower leaves keep like burning, while the two upmost nodes seem to do very well. We diagnosed nitrogen defiency earlier but I rectified that with BioBizz... still, the leaves makes me a very sad panda.

Also, generally, what do you think? The plants are now at about 8 inches. Time to flower?

looks like you may have a nitrgen def., i had this happen right away also, used a little more micro in the nutes and my plants came back and look great, as far as flowering goes, you could start it now, but the yield most likely wont be real high because of the size now, if you want a higher yield then you can try to top it now and maybe when it starts to bush out in a week then you can also try supercropping, which will also bring more strength and nodes to the bottom, along with all the light to see into the center of the plant, it will although slow the growing proccess with height, but makes for a huge healthy stalk and lots of top colas, this is my method, however, i do grow in hydro medium, but the same thing apply to all plants in general. good luck!!!!

youll have to read up on the stuff i never used it as i grow in hydro but there is something out there for your problem, one day with the right additive and youll see the difference, do some research on all the nutes you have and what you need to get, I highly suggest checking out youtube but pick and choose carefully, try looking at- grower md, grow420guide, or ne1cangrow, these are some good youtube channels with the best advice, I personally like ne1cangrow myself, and if you check it out you deffinately see why!!!

You mentioned hydro though I grow in soil for now. Using hydro I could control the variables much better. Do you think it could be worth a while because of this?

i personally do yes, you can simply but carefully rinse the roots lightly till most of the soil is gone and ist just roots, then plant into a hydro soiless mix such as coco coir, get a simple 3 bottle nutesystem lke GH flora series, micro, grow, and bloom, a digital ph tester, some ph up and ph down, make sure you maintain a ph of 5.5-6.2, this is a simple system that provs awesome results, follow the bottle directions exactly until youre ok enough to experiment, i feel hydro is way easier than soil, personal opinion, but i like big dense buds from hydro., plus it shows results twice as fast twice as big with less time!!!!!

also the variables dont need to be controlled as much, you just mix the nutes the way it says precisely, that is the control, the directions, the main thing is ph and the right drainage, heres my system, see if you can get anything out of this, keep in mind i look at these things like every other dayand take a ph teat other than that they just growView attachment 2532358View attachment 2532360View attachment 2532362View attachment 2532364
