alright i was jus wonderingg, im going with the cfls anyways, from what i heard someone on here told me they use blue 250w cfl for his small veg room and a red spectrum 250w cfl for his flower room, does anyone else think this is the best way to go, also what do you guys think on the aluminum?

Hi mate i dont know how many plants your growing but if its 4 or more then you want to get a HPS bulb set up. CFL are ok but are no match to HPS.

...I wouldn't use a cfl for flowering. You want a HPS HID ( High Pressure sodium, High intensity discharge bulb) CFL's will give you enough light for your veg....but, you'll have tiny buds using a cfl during bloom. View journals and you'll see the proof is in the pudding. Good luck.

But im running on a low budget also right and the cfl bulbs is the only bulbs that can fit that budget like i said it says all over this site about how good cfl light bulbs are, i would like to know what kind of cfl bulbs will i needd for my veg stage and what kind will i need for my flowering stage and how much will it cost? im only tarting off with 3 to 4 plants from seedling, my plan it to have the twinlite adapters hanging over the plants for each plant i lan to use one twinlite adapter so two lights for one plant, more then enough light. but how far will i have to put the lights fom the plant also?

Im going to say a twin CFL light with lets say 120w max aint going to be good enough mate. You can purchase a duel spec HPS from ebay. Prices range from $15 £7 to $1000's £1000's. You would do great with a 400w HPS with reflector. Around $65-70 £30-40 ebay. Miles better for both veg and flower. remember to look for duel spectrum....

the 6400 spectrum mimics the spring sun (blue) = veg
the 2700 spectrum mimics the fall sun (red) = bloom
...that's the idea lighting for most growers. More light = more bud.
