As I'm waiting on my THC Bomb seeds to be delivered from Marijuana-seed.nl (to Jersey), I'm preparing and buying my supplies so I'm ready to start when they arrive. This forum has been incredibly helpful in describing just about everything, but I was still confused on a few key things. So I would like to ask just a few quick questions:
1 - Can soil be reused? I'll be purchasing a 24qt bag of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, and I'm planning on growing 2-4 plants, depending on how many girls I get. Good soil is expensive... so in several months when this grow is done, can all this soil be reused? Is there any reason not to reuse soil? I know Ocean Forest is made with bat guano and nutrients (or whatever they put in), and does this stuff get used up after growing in it? Or can I just dump the soil into a new pot and start growing again?
2 - I'm going to be starting off my babies in some 9oz paper cups, but what size pot should I transplant them into next? I'm trying to not have to buy too many pots, but I want the best for my babies. Can they go right from the paper cups to 2 gallon pots? Where do they go from there? 5 gallons? Can I just keep them in the 2 gallon pots for the entire time? The less things I have to buy the better. Also, 5 gallon pots would probably take up considerable floor space in my closet...
3 - Drainage. Should I get pots that have holes in the bottom, or get ones that don't drain at all? These will be growing in my closet, so if they drain, what should I have to catch the excess water? Saucers?
Thanks guys, so far you've already been an invaluable resource and I look forward to sharing my grow with you in the near future. Happy toking!
