A fresh newbie asking for some advice

Greetings everyone.
Yesterday i collected a few plants fresh from the garden , and i have a few questions.
Overall there are 5 plants , 2 are about 85-90 centimeters long , 2 more at about 40 , and 1 little guy at 20. It didnt turned out exactly as much buds on a single plant as i used to watch on the clips , but im happy with my progress.
Here are my questions and hoping for some suggestions:
1.The longest one turned black.
2. All the plants are a little smashed due the other fruits & vegitebles in my backpack trying to cover the smell.
3.Is that little plant of 20 centimeters still good to go or is he a lost cause ? ( he still has some buds in its stalk but it seems a little imature compared to the others)

---Should i be worried about those 3 things ?

Other questions will be like , can i save some of the plants and continue growing them in the winter or shall i just put them to dry ? And if so , how many days/weeks is the drying process before i can have sex with them ?

Thank you for your time , silly quesitons i know , but need to start from somewhere.

When you say "collected" do you mean you cut them down for harvesting or tried to dig them up by the roots? And are they all in the flowering stage?

If you tried to dig them up by the roots and cut a lot off the roots off in the process, they will not survive a transplant. But you can try it. Repot and leave them alone to recover for a few days. It may not work, but it might. You won't be any worse off than you are now.

But you stuffed them all in a backpack with fruits and vegetables and they got all beat up as you carried them home, and one of them turned black in the process, it's probably a lost cause. You can look in the Harvesting & Curing thread for instructions on how to dry and cure.

dry it and smoke it. too much stress to try to grow longer.

black is usually from it being in a airtight place too long (backpack maybe?) or it was very very humid in your area an maybe it started to mold.

size has nothing to do with a plant , no matter if its 6cm or 100 , the fruit might be the same or better on either one.

ill give you your deserved props for getting it done!

I digged `em up WITH the roots.
It was black before i collected it. I agree maybe it got mold , but im not sure ( in case its mold , can i still use it for anything(smoke , seeds , leafs )
All are in the flowering stage including the little guy.
If i start a growing phase with the same plants that i just dig up , how many weeks / months will i need in order to get slightest result ?

P.S To the both guys above ^ -> Thanks for the suggestions and your time.

if its mold an you dont notice it now , then dry it an smoke it. the seeds will still be fine.

if you start growing her indoors an she makes it , then i would say a couple of months at least before she starts throwing out new shoots that you could actually use for clones.

if your going to try to continue the flower cycle indoors then just keep them in 12 hours of light until they finish , but i highly doubt it will be worth it because its just too much of a shock to them this late in the cycle.

^^^Sorry, I have to disagree here. If it's mold, DO NOT dry and smoke. Smoking mold is terrible for you. It gets in your lungs and can make you very, very sick. You can make canna butter/oil out of it, and use that for edibles. Still a high, and a potent one, and you won't be poisoning yourself. There's a whole room further down on the main page that addresses cooking with cannabis.

The other ones you can dry and smoke. Or you can do what wyteboi suggests...keep them alive enough to make clones, plant them and start from there. But that will be a 3 months process indoors.

Ahhh again with the mold when will people learn. Don't smoke it just trash it. Your health is more important than a 3hr stone.

you guys act like you started out on homegrown weed. bullshit. you guys have smoked just as much mexican mold as me?!

air and light kill mold , so if he couldnt even tell if it was mold then drying it will kill any mold left on the plant. will not hurt your lungs no more then a cigg or anything else for that matter. specially when we are comparing to commercial bullshit. your mold will be better then almost any commercial out there.

geez, anybody remember when we wasnt growing our own?

You act like smoking cigs is a ok thing.. Lol.. I guess in the end, it's all y'all's decisions weather you smoke mold or not.. And sure, light and air kill mold, but it doesn't rid of the reminiscence of dead mold..

By the way, you claim to be a "fresh newbie" (your words, not mine) and the fact that you dug them up to bring them home to try to get them growing again.. had to put them in a backpack for a while (assumption since you had to mask the scent) all kinda gives off some bad vibes to me.. Not accusing you of it, but that sounds like some shit a thief would say.. And no one likes their crops being stolen..
