I would say its just a good rule of thumb, not neccessarily set in concrete. Its just a safe guide to go by.

thanks man!! i have read threads on this site for weeks now and i finally registerd the other day and im glad i did! i taught it would take ages but it only act took 2 secs!! i have set up my thread now asking about lights, if anyone could help itd be very helpfull!?

i remember this picture!! stoners - bad memory - blah!! i just dont see the need in huge pots indoors. not for something that is only gonna grow for 4 months. congrats on those buds btw.:joint:
