I want to grow and i was just wondering what seeds you would recommend that are easy for a Noob to maintain and grow. Im going to keep the plants outside for the remainder of the summer then bring them inside.

Thanks,

Hi ya Q :)

Welcome to RiU :)

My tip is " Flying Dutchman Pot Of Gold " Very easy to grow ... Very tollerent and very forgiving , Cup Winner ... high THC ... Mould and Rot resistent ... I call it " Noob growers wet dream " :)

Sex : Regular
Type : Mostly indica
Flowering : Photoperiod
Genetics : Hindu Kush x Skunk #1
Flowering Time : Long
Outdoor Harvest : October
Height : Medium, Tall
THC Level : High

Characteristics :
sweet hashish taste and an extremely potent physical effect Flying Dutchmans Pot of Gold is a true present for cannabis treasure hunters. Her incredible growing potentials and extremely powerful effects were recognised by the Celebrity Judges of the High Times Cup 1998; she also won the 2nd prize at the 2003 Indica Cannabis Cup.
Pot of Gold is an indica dominated F1 hybrid designed by American and Dutch seed breeders who crossed a Hawaiian indica with a famous Skunk #1. The result was above all their expectations, a new strain with well balanced indica/sativa qualities.
The Cannabis Seeds have a 95%-100% germination rate after being just 12 hours in the damp paper towels. They produce healthy looking seedlings and are mould and stress resistant. Don't be afraid to overfeed these babies - they just suck it all up with no signs of burn whatsoever. The plants grow fairly vigorously, several toppings are required until they rich their full size of around 3 ft. Compact seedling really explode in outward and upward growth and nearly double in size once put under a usual 12/12 light cycle.
Once flowering starts, it becomes evident that Pot of Gold is one of the fastest flowering phenotypes, her first flowers start to grow lots of white hairs already at the 2nd week. After it, she simply bursts into flowering, completely changing the general structure of the cannabis plant to a very branchy indica with a couple of branches rivalling the main cola for size and height. Resins appear at around 3rd week and fully coat the buds. The smell of the flowers is skunky sweet, very enjoyable. The flowering period lasts 8 weeks resulting with an average yield as high as 5oz of quality marijuana per plant.

Flying Dutchmans Pot of Gold is often referred to as a happy weed, good for social occasions - some people like to interact after smoking, and some just want to sit in a corner and drift away.

Good Luck and have fun here :)

Barney's Farm LSD seems pretty resilient, but I have only been able to find feminized seeds recently, and I have read some reports of them going hermie (crossing my fingers, haven't seen a herman yet.) My first grow was some auto ak47s from lowlife seeds, and they did better than I expected; decent yield, amazing smell, and fairly potent smoke.

Any of the greenhouse seeds strains will be good has long has you let the seed get on with germanteing and don't wet it through. Here is my full proof way of germanateing seeds if you do it this way then it will 100% work first wet about 4/5 squares of a roll of toilet paper, then lay them onto a small saucer mist or poor some water onto the paper if the water is good enougth for you to drink then it will be fine to use if not then buy some spring water.Poor of any excess water you do not want your seeds laying in a puddle of water lay you seed or seeds on the top of the moist paper then put another 4/5 squares of dry t.paper on the top of the other trapping the seed inbetween the two layers.if the top sheets are a little dry then just adda tad of water but not too much but normaly the bottom layer will wet the top one. Then get hold of another saucer and and put this one on top of the other causeing a clam like effect, place inside a sealer bag or a carry bag and put somewhere warm but not too warm just room temp this will stop the seeds from drying out and the bag will keep the humidity in,check after about 2/3 days and you will have the seeds done to a t some may be done before others if so just put back the ones that are not done and they will normaly be done the following day .Then if you are useing soil put the soil in a pot then water it before adding the seed this part is important leave the excess water to run off once it stops running make a hole so that the seed head is just below the surface about 2/3mm below then i place either under some cfl's of flouresents or just on a window cill after about a day the seed head will start to show.At this time it will have the seed still attached so don't try and remove it it will force it off it's self and then the rest is in your hands if you need any advice post me a question tyke.......................................................................................................................................
