So i cant really ask him why he has them in there seeing as he does not know i know hes growing. But he has about 12 plants each in 1 gallon buckets and each plant has its own solar light...I know this guy knows what hes doing, but whats with the solar light? Its like the ones people have in their front yards the little stake ones. Does this have something to do with force flowering them outdoors?

to force flower outdoors you have to acualy take light away, you need to cover them in something light tight at nights to achieve 12/12, i can only guess that he is just doing it to give them some extra light through the nights, some people have told me that they do light cyclyes of 20/4 and ive even hear of people doing 24/0 in some cases so i would also like to know whats up with the solar lights, are they doing anything? do they help/hurt the ladies? is it just like a little boost through the night time during veg or what? anyone know?

That is incorrect. People switch from 24 light to 16 all the time. Flowering rarely occurs.

he is just trying to keep the ladies from flowering..he probably started late growing so is using the solar lamps to keep them in veg. any light while the plant is in its dark cycle interrupts its time to start flowering

Hmm its a Great idea. But its Mid june in north California, I dont think he would have to worry about them going into flowering just yet.
